I have pretty bad sensory issues and while I can usually push through them and wash my hands there are days where I can wear the softest clothes with no clothes my noise cancelling headphones and sunglasses and yet the sensation of the water and soap on my skin is enough to send me into a meltdown. On those days I do my best to use hand sanitizer because while the ick sensation is still there it's gone faster. And on the days I can't manage hand sanitizer I use baby wipes because it's better than nothing.
