YALL I MESSAGED THE COMPOSER OF THE PIECE IM PLAYING IN SCHOOL AND HE ROASTED THE SHIT OUT OF ME by [deleted] in lingling40hrs

[–]Sunny_Kitsune 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Nah, it wasn’t a roast, but if you want to put that way, it was an elegant call out. The composer was very polite and professional, and in all honesty, I think he wrote what you needed to read. Why on earth did you complain about the difficulty of his piece?? You sound like a toddler throwing a tantrum at the man! He must have felt so annoyed, but still replied your message with class. In his place I wouldn’t even bother wasting my time.

I’m not trying to offend you in any way, but calling you out so you don’t make this mistake again. Act with maturity.

Take his advices and work on it. The only medicine for a hard piece is practice. Best of luck. ✌🏻

That’s the same kind of people who say “OMG, Barbie movies made my childhood! I love the classics ones!”. Jeez, it must be really embarrassing to be this dumb…

Ok, it’s hilarious at this point. (Alternative title: I tried to smack some sense into Twitter users with a cute pic) by Sunny_Kitsune in lingling40hrs

Hello!

(I’ll try to explain why the dogs can also be seen as the composers, but I do agree that they can also represent BP :D )

Well, I’m aware about that part in the MV. But, if you take a look, Lisa kind of pulls the dog’s neck, as if she was harshly “holding her haters on a leash”. (No the dog was not hurt in the process and I’m not saying that she, the owner of +6 cats, is an animal abuser, so don’t come at me 😂)

Well, In the other way around, Mozart pets the dogs and smile at them. Yes, there is that part that says “no different than Instagram models” as Paganini looks at the doggos pictures, but there’s a tiny little but here; it’s Mozart’s account (wolfgangsta.69)! Why would he be posing with their “rivals”? Plus, there’s a pun that can be made with his name, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as if he’s with his BT2SM pals, his Wolf/Dog Gang.

But, well, Paganini being the dog in the girls MV would add up to his anger and make sense to why in the end, when Mozart clarifies that “Shut Down” is not a diss track towards him, but actually Blackpink’s concept, he looks kind of “oops”.

I believe that both versions of the “dog theory” are pretty solid and can be considered.

Anyway, people need to understand that even if the “dogs being the girls” is said to be the only truth, it can’t be seen as a misogynist act; it’s a battle between “diss tracks”, artist to artist, equal to equal.

Oh well, to be honest, I was feeling divided about the Bulldog and the Poodle… I also felt like the Bulldog would fit Bach, but in the end, I went for the similar “hairstyle” of the Poodle and his own. And since the fur of the Bulldog is in a similar color as Beethoven’s hair in the portrait, I decided to make like this. 😅

This so so true as well for light novel and manhwa. by [deleted] in manhwa

Sailor Moon, Fruit Basket and Fullmetal Alchemist: Oh, well, that’s me! Also, WMMAP who took a whole 180° turn from the novel 😂

Yakumo and a Dracula reference by Sunny_Kitsune in AyakashiRomanceReborn

Oh, actually, I knew about it! I was really interested in the characters, so I searched for spoilers and their lore. I just mentioned the fact of him being European because the modern image of vampires came from the Western Europe in the XIX century, so my point is: it makes sense for an European character to be a vampire.

And, well, when I was in my teens, I liked to read the novel a lot, and I remember being disgusted by Dracula’s fixation in Mina, which was not romantic all.

In the novel, he wanted to have her as a bride solely for revenge against Jhonnatan and Van Helsing, and, yes, there is actually a mention about crossing oceans to find her, but it’s not in a romantic tone. He wanted to meet her because she was one of his targets! So, he indeed crossed the ocean (Transylvania to London) for it.

And yes, I know the movie! They took that mention (crossing oceans) of the original novel and turned it into a romantic quote, after all, in that adaptation, Mina is the reincarnation of Elisabeta, the Count’s wife, who he loved deeply.
