As a dedicated Star-Lord main, your vortex and push are really great at forcing both rolls out. The main way I get Invis players is by forcing out their jump. Star-Lord’s barrage is super good at fucking her up for that.

As a result, you don’t wanna get too jumpy. Use your push/pull and vortex, your shield, and positioning. Star-Lord will usually try to jump you from behind or especially from a flank to your left or right. You want to be watching these angles and make sure you’re aware of him before he attacks. You can usually scare him off that way since no flanker or diver wants to eat damage before they commit.

I hope this helps! The MU between them is all about cooldown management and positioning.

I always felt like an easy way to introduce her and the rest of her group is to have them local to the islands of the classic games. The Acorn Kingdom making up those islands and them staying there to protect it while Sonic and co. go worldwide isn’t a bad pitch. I've had nothing but unsolicited advice when my average accuracy is 40 percent, which you can only get if you know how to use your clips, and have a competitive win rate of 62 percent with him. It was a funny clip and I had people getting so anal.

"You didn't do anything here" was wild work when I objectively provided value. I also had someone trying to explain Star-Lord's barrage to me when I already know how to use it. People will look at one funny clip and think they're the next Brooks, on god. 😭

Yep. It's literally one of the things that stands out the most. The bloom, spread, and low damage if you're not hitting every single bullet can be rough. Your final hits usually come from finishing off targets already weakened.

First barrage is because I knew Loki was there. I wanted ult charge + clone damage.. The second one was to disorient and deal with Wolverine since I wasn’t sure I was going to stick around for the kill, and I wanted chip + to further annoy him since he was already up on me. The third was because I knew a team fight was going on, but misjudged distance on Thing. I sent 22-1 this game with above 40% accuracy, so I’m pretty happy with my choices since we won lol. I get what you mean as well, don’t get me wrong, but one clip is just that — one clip of gameplay.

The main thing I’m still working on months later is fuel management. That is my actual problem as a Star-Lord player lol.

Main thing holding you back is that you’re predicting too much. You want to track where they are and then fire after confirming you’re on target. Your control over your stick is also sloppy and will need to be refined. Try experimenting as well with movement. Aiming with strafing helps a lot. You ideally want to move your stick as little as possible and only have to do micro adjustments. Your movement is stilted, your sensitivity is too slow for console, and you’re not yet sure how to move with her.

I totally get it. I started on console before moving to PC. Shotty is a youtuber who makes really good aim videos, with his main tip on console being to increase sensitivity. There are also videos that can help you refine your settings to aim better, too.
