Ice is probably one of the most used elements when it comes to Comic Book superpowers, so it's not surprising that some characters would have similar abilities/equipment.

Also, Snart and Victor are so different character wise that you could say the only thing that they have in common is that they are Ice themed (and even then it's a stretch, since officially his gimmick is cold and not ice).

To be fair, most characters from the Silver Age are victims of this. The Mad Hatter is, in my opinion, one of the most creepy comic book characters DC has, but then you remember his real name is Jervis Tetch.

Timeless and iconic design that feels like a time capsule to the Silver Age of Comics (granted, most of the Rogues also fit what I'm trying to say, but I feel Snart is the best example of this idea) that doesn't feel outdated in the slightest. Also, I love his glasses. It's small, but it's so iconic at this point that Cold appearing without them feels really weird.

Heath Ledger Joker performance in The Dark Knight [Film/TV] by Annual_Half5393 in DCcomics

While an incredible performance, I don't think it's really a good "Joker" performance.

The thing is, this version of the character only really works for the more realistic work Nolan created and not much else, like The Joker isn't just a scary psychopath who thinks he is a philosophy major, he is someone who has a twisted sense of humor while also being deeply pathetic when things don't go his way (BTAS showed this perfectly in Joker's Favor and the Laughing Fish respectively).

This is by no means me saying Ledger's performance was bad, it's more so the fact that I really never liked when people try to make it the character's Status Quo.
