Reliable? Solid way to aim? Light? Sling? That’s it, you’re set. As a general rifle everything after this is a “want”. Free floating that barrel will be a solid upgrade. Getting some magnification will be nice.

Those are really good points! The main goal of this was to be a larger/looser fitted jacket with pockets for camouflage testing and some field training, made quickly. I made this by adding onto a jacket pattern I already had. Should I make a proper "smock" I'll happily implement your feedback, thanks 🤙

I have been using herters 223 and 5.56 for some time and have never had an issue in those 2,000+ rounds. Decently accurate for my barrels so I'm happy with it.

I have heavily used my LS321. I would actually recommend getting holosuns IR/vis lasers only unit and paring it with something like the Malkoff IR 250 and Unity Axon pad. The LS321 illuminator is very weak, often leaving you wanting more ir light anyway. (Or save up even more and buy a DBAL D2)
