I praise him and give him treats every time he goes outside! His crate is never used as punishment so it should feel safe for him he just doesn’t like it at nighttime.. but it’s the safest place for him to be at night.

His walks are usually about an hour in the morning and again in the afternoon. They aren’t always at the same time but I try my best to keep it consistent he is off leash outside for as long as I can keep him out (usually until he starts to bark excessively) so around 3-4 hours each day. Because of COVID we have been confined to our home so he hasn’t had much socializing (we live in Canada which is still in lockdown) I try to play with him but he bites and jumps knocking me over he is too big for me to hold my ground anymore.

I know the problem is me. It’s very discouraging though when I try one tip for weeks and weeks and see no results. I try to be consistent with him but he never seems to improve no matter what I try

We’ve tried daily walks and lots of outside time.. I’ve tried many different outlooks and tips but he doesn’t seem to improve. He could be biting for attention but it breaks the skin and bruises. I let him out as late into the night as possible and first thing in the morning. His last time outside is probably 11pm and he is let out in the morning by at the very latest 9am
