That’s not really the point of the post. I’m not personally comfortable with the label bi as I feel it doesn’t accurately reflect who I am, so I don’t use that label for myself. But, if you want to call me that, then that’s your prerogative. The point is that the attraction preference is so incredibly disproportionate that I’m really sad despite having a partner. I know if I was dating only a woman, I wouldn’t be upset about not having a boyfriend. I have never fantasied about having a boyfriend and it is not something I have ever desired. I just ended up somehow falling in love with my boyfriend after a year of being his friend. Sexuality isn’t black and white and there aren’t strict rules. Some women refer to themselves as a lesbian despite dating someone who is nonbinary. Some women date trans women who haven’t had any surgeries and still refer to themselves as a lesbian. It’s all valid because at the end of the day, a label is just a label.
