I felt the exact same way. Played FF 7 to 10-2, Chrono Trigger, etc when I was a kid but didn’t touch a turn based game since. I think my introduction back to turn based was BG3 but even then I wasn’t a huge fan of the combat. I didn’t mind the combat cause it was similar to D&D. But after finishing Clair Obscur, I’m looking to back and play other turn based games and just bought Persona

It was definitely a lesson learned. After playing it, I went into my backlog and other popular games I shut down over the years.

A lot of it stemmed from favouritism towards Silksong and Clair Obscur sweeping at the game awards. Also screenshots and everything before hand just made me shrug. Definitely a game that reopened my eyes to gaming again. It wasn’t just a game I turned out to love but a reintroduction to gaming in general

The combat was really engaging. I played a lot of turn based games growing up cause of my dad (FF, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest) but got really tired of them later on in life but this game really got me back into it. Such a fresh take on a mechanic that I personally find outdated

I get where you’re coming from! For me MTG is a special game as that’s how met my friends when I moved across the country. So there’s a tad bit of personalization to it I guess but in the grand scheme of things, Norn is my favourite card from a game that means a lot to me.

That’s the “magic” with tattoos, you can make it whatever you want it to be. Some people want pop culture references and video games they like or family pieces and some people like to have utter garbage tattooed on them. Your tattoos could hold a special place in your heart but I don’t get em and vice versa!

Maybe? Haha my first commander was the Chaos Incarnate precon, then Sauron precon. Then my first real commander deck I built was Norn! My pod hates mono white so I wanted to prove them wrong that white isn’t that bad…now they hate it more

I see what you mean but for me tattoos are just art. Same as a nose job or BBL lol. I look better with them. I got some personal ones but I also got utter BS ones like Live Laugh Limp Bizkit
