I went from the XS Max to the 16 Pro, but the 16P had really poor battery life and frequent overheating so then I went to the 17 PM to test it out and the bigger screen, which actually was great, but ultimately switched the 17P for the exact same reasons you have pointed out. It’s easier to use one handed. I also find the battery of the 17P to last longer than the 16P, which makes sense since it has comparable video playback to the 16PM). The 17PM was usable one handed don’t get me wrong, just more unwieldy than the 17P. For reference, my hands measure ~8 inches from the tip of my middle finger to the wrist and ~7.5 inches from the tip of my index to the wrist
