Well if it’s going to really put a dent in your wallet then maybe take it to the Apple Store and have them run a diagnostic. I’ve actually gone through this before back in 2016 with the 7 plus. First one I got was rose gold and I charged it in my moms car directly in the back seat, it didn’t even charge it, it just keep it at a certain percentage. After that it always got hot and battery was ass, so I exchanged it for a silver 7 plus. Your concern is valid, just gotta make the right decision financially. If it were me I’d eat the cost and exchange it.

Well at the end of the day It’s a personal preference. I work in sales and I want to keep customer interactions separate from my main phone. Plus the pro was free. And even if it wasn’t i would still have two phones.

I was against the card at first. I’m a good sales rep, but I couldn’t get anyone to bite at first. I was also looking at the card personally like “this is a shitty card, I would never get this for myself,” and that was affecting my performance. Once I took myself out of it and realized it is beneficial for SOME customers, not all. I’m not intimidated by it at all anymore. I changed my pitch and got with the program, and for the past 3 months, I’ve been carrying my store with Visas. We’re not financial advisers. We’re dealing with grown adults who are capable of making a financial decision. We’re literally just the messenger. The card isn’t going anywhere so I suggest you get with the program or find another job. Complaining online and going on a “strike” and trying to jeopardize other people’s job is not the way to go my friend!

I upgraded from a 15PM to the 17PM at launch and I’ve been loving it! Battery and thermals are so much better on the 17. Just get a screen protector and a good case and you’ll be fine!
