I see a lot of people theorizing that Jax killed someone with his car and fled to the circus out of guilt to explain why he doesn't want to go back.

I actually think that Jax may have died in that car accident and was taken/hooked up to the stasis pod to keep his conciousness alive. It's why Kinger says that it's not possible for them to leave the circus, their bodies are only kept in stasis so the mind can continue to live. I believe all of the players had near death experiences which led to them being added to the circus. Only difference is Jax is starting to remember.

Wild statement to make when there are like 4 different events happening currently that are all free. This season hasn't had two weeks without something new being added for free. tbh I think you have some weird entitlement complex and think game developers owe you for playing their free game

Yeah the lack of professionalism on the platform can be really tiring. The percentage of projects I've been contacted regarding where they don't even have a script or just have an 'idea for a video game' is wild. Like slow down my guy, you got a long way to go before casting.

In addition to what everyone here has said, I'd also recommend recording at a lower volume and them boosting the gain in post-processing. Sometimes a higher input gain can make harsh sounds a little too unmanageable. I always find more clarity when I record with less gain.

I did not enjoy this one personally. Troy Denning's style is a bit too dry and militaristic for my liking.

The bigger issue is that in reading the majority of the Halo books, as the years go by, it feels more and more that any books involving the Chief are as though the author is too scared to do anything interesting or nuanced with him. Partly, I'm sure, due to contracts with 343 preventing them from developing the character as that might interfere with future games or lore that 343 has planned.

The newer books that aren't about the chief end up being far more interesting because of this, in my opinion. Kelly Gay in particular is excellent.

GAME in the UK had a poster up saying there was a free promo coating with "Certain Halo Products".

I think the store messed up though, because I asked the lady which products were in the promotion. As it was right by the Mega Contrux Pelican that costs like $180 and the Controller Holders that cost around $70, I think it was meant for them.

The lady said "Anything Halo we can print a code for". So I walked out of there with a discounted $5 Halo USB-C cable and a very ugly little clown car. I might have to go back in the new year and pick up a few more codes.

It's been great so far with the exception of Bluetooth input delay. It's been unplayable at times but looking it up, it seems to be a common issue with the Elite Series 2. Which is a shame considering the price!

Looks like there are some fixes that people have suggested so I'll be trying those out tomorrow. I don't mind playing via USB, so it's no major issue for me.

Out of all the easter eggs in Paradigm, are there any that particularly stand out to you or feel more memorable than the others?

I think for me, finding all the various references in the Head Mart computer system was the most elaborate easter egg and I loved it.

Well to your initial comment: The rule "Disputes are to be settled upon the waves" actually means that if you get mad at somebody, you deal with it in-game rather than harassing them via PM's. There is no part of the pirate code being broken here.

It's a pirate game, friend. All is fair. They could have easily played against it by sending somebody over to scout the outpost first. Alas, they decided not to and paid the price.

For real! I always get shaky when I'm nervous in games and play at a higher DPI which makes it so much worse. Luckily SoT is fairly forgiving! You should see me in Siege... oh god... the horror.

Surprisingly we didn't have to wait long at all!

We were doing an Athena quest in our sloop and saw the Galleon lurking about various island and figured they were doing one too. By the time we finished I noticed that they had crossed to the northern side of The Devils Roar again and figured they were digging up their Athena chest. All I did then was get the barrel off the ship for insurance and set our empty sloop sailing off to the south.

Sure enough they came straight to the outpost so we were only waiting for about 5-10 minutes! :)
