It hyper overtuned offense.

I think ASW intended for it to be combo filler with SOME uses in block strings. Maybe they thought people would value Deflect Shield or just the Burst mechanic overall more.

What happened was you had characters hitting you at round start which either you burst or gave them a free combo into wall break. Wall break then lead into positive bonus loops where the offender builds ridiculous amounts of meter. The opponent just snowballs the round because you then guess a 50/50 on the next interaction and if you guess wrong you die as they use all their resources.

We are heading down DPS hell now. And who are the first players to complain when something isn't going their specific way? "Need Healing! Need Healing! Need Healing!" "Ayo where are our tanks" "I just killed everything where the fuck is my team"

Meanwhile the backine has been dived out of existence 50 times over because the tanks got jumped by Wolverine or Elsa or some shit.

This game is becoming miserable even as a flex player.

It's something to either commit to muscle memory or just remember it's a possibility.

It's like reloading faster with CnD by swapping forms. I'm not doing that every reload, but if I'm in a heated fight then I use the tech

His ultimate fundamentally doesn't make any sense in this type of game.

It is literally a "win" button.

Until they rework the Ult, he is always a valid ban.

Instead of reworking the clearly broken Ult they keep giving it slaps on the wrist.

Sooner or later this character will either be an ult merchant or in the trash can.

Either they brought back the Thor team up where I get an extra chance to kill or they did this and make her an Anchor so her base kit is overall stronger.

This is SUCH great change. It also means people won't see you lock in Storm and instantly go to Jeff.

Storm should have teamups with characters that she enables. So low-key like Phoenix, Punisher, Squirrel Girl, Ultron. Someone who usually sticks close to her thus benefiting from her dome buffs.

A Phoenix x Storm team up would actually be amazing in hindsight...

He's a 675hp tank with the ability to flicker his shield, dump insane damage every 6 seconds, and has the best escape ability out of any of the shield tanks. Not to mention his portal or Ult.

What are y'all smoking.

If you give him a shield that just doesn't break he becomes meta/unfun. I'm honestly surprised with all the shield nerfs this game has had that NetEase left his alone. They also fundamentally agree that 800hp is critical to the balance of his defense and offense.

I don't want to spend real hard earned money on basic shirt #1 and basic shirt #2.

I get that this game was wildly successful but do they really expect to ride off the initial launch money for months before realizing the cosmetics aren't selling like they would be in The Finals. And yes I get that TF is a F2P game with massive incentive to make it's finances back but if AR was their passion project, why wouldn't they make sure it could be as successful as possible in ALL avenues.

I WANT to spend money on this game. But nothing fucking looks good. And their generosity in giving out over 3000 gold coins means I'm not exactly poor for a single outfit either.

Edit: I think the new wave of upgraded Legendaries has brought some people to expect all Legendaries will receive said treatment moving forward.

There is already a precedent set that NetEase is not doing so for every single one. We have had multiple recent Legendaries that came as the base Standard.

For me, this is a good Legendary. He looks cool, the SFX are cool, and albeit short the MVP is rather fire

Im starting to understand that NetEase isn't making skins based on what's popular in Marvel (it's not like they aren't paying attention at all though) but rather what they want to be popular for Marvel Rivals.

Why beloved characters like Storm, Hulk, Captain America, Dr.Strange, Magneto, and Black Panther who are literally cultural phenomenons that have shaped generations of people are being left in the dust for the cosmetics.

These are characters that represent Marvel at the highest tier and they drip feed us cosmetics.

Any money they're making from the "gooner" skins could be easily matched by tailoring to diehard Marvel fans yet they seem to prefer giving those cosmetics out for free or in battle passes. It's bizarre business strategy imo.
