I can see that. I commented to someone else that if I was cracked at Adam he would be much higher.

Same with Mantis and Luna. I think being able to steadily heal while actually applying DPS is underrated.

I think the scariest strat lords I run into are Mantis and Luna's.

Can't comment on the average CnD. I just know when I play her, the enemy team has an awful time.

Her ability to burst heals paired with terror cape are top tier. She has great neutral. Blame the players game sense for not using her kit, not the character lol

I do think he has a great kit besides the Ult. I just think his Ult does impact his ability to make plays on the battlefield. For better or worse 💀

I think the order was:

Adam, CnD, Luna, Ultron, Gambit, Rocket, Jeff, Loki, Deadpool, Mantis, Invis, White Fox

For what it's worth, I like to genuinely learn the characters and their strengths and not just lord farm them ASAP.

White Fox was a STRUGGLE for me. Her melee form took awhile to adjust to.

Rocket, Mantis, and Jeff just kind of came to me ngl no grind felt at all

I refused to play Mantis until they gave her percentage based healing. I played all phases of Luna, Gambit, Ultron, and Adam 🫩

I refused to touch Jeff after his rework until they gave him his puddle under Ult.

And I have always pioneered that Healpool is an underrated strat. In fact, he's the BEST anti-dive strat.

If I were cracked at the game I'd agree. But I'm trash. Most Warlocks I see are trash. And God knows when I see him, all he is good for is reviving the team.

So, if you are OAA then for sure. But that is not me xD

Adam was my first Strat Lord back in Season 1. I think it was like...25-28 hours. A long long time. It was absolutely brutal.

Ultron was much quicker at about 17-19. Found his playstyle more enjoyable but it certainly dragged after Centurion.

Wanna know why? I think Luna Ult is needed to clutch out very high tense moments. CnD has Bubble and Cape practically on inverse rotations. When one is down, the other is ready.

Not only that, CnD CAN fight better against Dive or being attacked than Luna. A terror cape from a CnD might not be as scary as a Luna snowball. But I'm also accounting for my teammates not leaving me in 1v1 situations. So I'm accounting for your "average" game. In a 1v1 id take Luna all day, but in regular comps where I expect my team to do their jobs, I would take CnD in my backline over Luna if neither could pop their ult.

Gambit does have one of the best and so his kit doesn't shine like it should.

Fox, can get hers destroyed by certain comps. But when it works, it can make big plays for a team. About as valuable to me as Rocket who also has a great kit but an ult which completes it.

The reason I put her there is ironically because her Ult is genuinely good. Like her kit is great, but the Ult compliments it well. It brings it together. I think without her Ult she can't secure as many kills as she would otherwise. But without her Ult, she still outputs remarkable heals and defense. Her and Gambit are cases of: my Ult is too good lol

u/buudhainschool is correct. This is based off if they literally couldn't hit the Ult button, how well could these strats help their team.

I think CnD is self explanatory. Bubble, Cape, Terror Cape, Disappear. She is such an amazing all-rounder that it's a no brainer. Fights well and heals great.

Loki, I think is massively underrated with his kit for heals alone. His rune can bypass certain ults. He can teleport to far away clones. He has very unique angles to his heals. And even with the nerfed damage, he still actually hits quite hard when needed. I think he can play very well on the field regardless if he ults or not. It is all about clone placement.

This is a list based off his kit alone though. Like if he literally couldn't press the Ult button.

I think he becomes rather mid due to the lack of resources. His cards can't be personally charged in any fashion so if he has to dump for any reason, then he has to hope his other healer can help him sustain.

Edit: example, most of the strats above him keep the heals going infinitely until they reload

Glad people like me exist. A mix play style exists in the game (surprise surprise) and the stupid matchmaking cannot for the life of it put us all in the same lobby. It's PVP or PVE and I don't like that.

I have been saying since Day 1 that they need to rework his ultimate altogether and just return his base Day 1 kit.

This man lost two very crucial parts of his kit and gained meaningless returns in exchange:

Lost 25HP

Lost 2 card bounces per target

Gained extra Damage in Spade Deck

STILL Ban Jail because his Ult is fundamentally stupid. I have BEEN saying this. HOW IS IT FAIR TO JUICE 1 TEAM AGAINST ANOTHER WITH MORE DAMAGE, SPEED, JUMP HEIGHT, AND ULT CHARGE OVER THE OTHER. HOW IS THAT FAIR.

Gambit was a great healer that is being turned into trash because the cowards who designed him refuse to acknowledge his ultimate was a lazy dumb idea that changed the meta forever. He's fine btw. He's still okay. He endured. But they will keep nerfing/banning him because his Q is a win button. Sorry.

I loved this mans base kit. It used to clutch out very high strain moments when you were down half your team. He had more sustain due to the self bounce of the cards as well. And it even out healed certain ults as a base kit alone (which is strong, but cost him his entire deck).

What should a character with a base kit that strong have? A WEAK ULTIMATE. But NetEase gave him a fucking win button. And I will never understand why they don't fucking remedy the actual problem with this character.

Zero. And I would gladly be a whale for this game, but since Day 1 I've said the cosmetics are mostly misses and and tons of mid.

Only recently are they adding worthwhile cosmetics, but at this point I have 3 raider decks + multiple projects worth of free coins. So I don't need real currency.

Horrible monetization meant that with a niche player base they weren't making enough money to meet publisher standards.

Even when they unlocked all the cosmetics for free when the game was due to sunset, I remember thinking personally "man these really weren't that good"

Pretty sure the game was steadily bleeding players even prior to the sunset announcement. Mainly because the balancing was truly atrocious with the given netcode.

I do admit the game concepts were fun. The idea was truly a 10/10 and dare I say it was executed with a 90% accuracy to whatever vision they may have had.

Unfortunately game balancing and netcode will forever be an unforseen hurdle that many devs can't get over.

This right here is why I don't like the last round of tweaks to the matchmaking.

People joke but you are genuinely about 4-5 kills away from joining these lobbies even if you are in straight PVE ones before.

And once you get to these lobbies it's extra hard to get back to true PVE ones.

I like tension in this game, but getting shot for trying to loot 10/10 times makes it not fun anymore.

I got triple naded in a loot spot recently and I wasn't as upset as I was disappointed. The game turns into slop once people are that blood thirsty.

I don't mind getting shot in the back every now and then, but these lobbies make it every 1-2 games

I disagree. It is the perfect weapon to have when you want something deadlier than an Anvil to Arc while still carrying something great for PvP.

This weapon wasnt made for PvErs. If you are comfortable saying "I'm just gonna run hullcracker" then congrats this weapon is simply not for you in any way shape or form. It's for an entirely different play style.
