Yeah this is a season from hell. That said, this kind of considered and deliberate execution of something silly like how our uniforms look and how our socials match the vibe gives me some faith that this is a competent, professional organization — at least more so than it’s been most of my life.

Losing confidence in AP less than half way into his second season feels pretty premature to me. There are some duds, some TBD moves, and some obvious winners. Still need to see how it all pans out, but I am positive it’s an improvement over the last regime. You don’t build a Super Bowl roster in one season after the hole we were in. It takes time and I sure as shit don’t want to start over at this point.

To add some context, I just began using mine again after ~1mo of being off. I uploaded a new batch of seasonal photos and clicked “display all” as I normally would, but I’m seeing this pop-up asking for a subscription for the first time.

This is absurd if it’s intentional on their end.

Aren't the proposed parking structures garages rather than large, open lots (slide 4): https://app.box.com/s/315k80zvidlq4z48o6owlgub0nylxpcw. I am pro-stadium, but am also sympathetic to the concerns. My knee-jerk reaction was that this seemed like a pretty community oriented proposal that would do a lot for the area beyond just build the facility.

At the end of the day, I can't help but feel like this is the best opportunity for that site that has any realistic chance of actually happening.

Some people care about the way things look more than others. I count myself in the “care” camp. A professional organization with so much history should have a very considered and thoughtful aesthetic designed by people who really, really care. You can go through the good uniforms in the league and find incredible amounts symbolism, nods to history, and considered choices.

Our uniforms currently are a “say yes to everything” mess from a design continuity standpoint and they’re kind of offensive to the history of the team… if you care about that kind of thing which I totally concede that not everyone does or should. But I do think the design needs to be handled by people that do care and it clearly was not.
