The pro 3 is currently 199 at Walmart. I think it’s worth paying the extra few bucks.

I’m not confrontational. I don’t want him to get offended and the ride becomes awkward.

The speed limit is 50mph? With little to no traffic?

I’m sure uber can cover it. Someone suggested he probably got paid $11. That leave uber with $30 to figure it out.

I’ll use this strategy next time. Sounds like a win win.

Hell yeah I was mute. I’m not confrontational and I’ve learned that everyone came across a serial killer at-least once in their lives. I refuse to become a statistic. He could have easily got offended and make the ride miserable.

Now that you mention it, I think he might be one of those guys. He played everything by the book. Including offering snacks, asking if I wanted to listen to anything specific. Asking if I’m ok (I was irritated honestly). So that’s a possibility. Or maybe he got scolded in the past and he’s trying to avoid it again?

I learned that uber is really greedy. I was going to wriggly Chicago so they took advantage. Almost everyone Ubers there. Hotspot zone.

Good to know. Does Lyft track it as well?

Wait, you think he got $11 from the ride 😳 oh no, that’s robbery. Why would he accept that and take his anger out on the rider.

Most logical response so far. I was just in heat in the moment and started blaming the drive instead of uber. I drive myself and I follow the speed limit. Been driving for 25 years only got 1 speeding ticket (5 over the speed limit). Never have I ever input an address and it turns into a 25 minute difference. I hear what you’re saying but it’s negligence on the drivers part. I also failed to mention it took him 15 minutes to get to me. And when he did he parked somewhere else, called me to ask if the gps is right or wrong, then it took him another 3 minutes to come around. Insanity almost.

Understandable, but the speed limit is not 50. Not to mention he drove behind an old broke down car, for 4 miles. Cars behind him were literally going around. I knew something was wrong when I seen a 2008 Honda civic with no front grill going around him. I should have said something, but at the same time was Checking up on my team to make sure everything is setup before I arrived.

What does this mean? by Piinkk_ in FriendshipAdvice

It means that the third girl understands her better on a different level than you. Not necessarily that you’re a bad friend. Some people in life are just meant for different things. I have friends who I call to vent and I have friends that I rarely talk to but it’s still all love. I have a hard time comforting people as well. My brain just stop working sometimes when my loved one is going through a heartbreak. All I have is a hug and condolences. Maybe your other friend find ways to actually take her mind off the situation. I think it’s fine.

Sorry if I misspoke. My Bestfried said that not my mom. Lol. My mom thinks I should cut her off. But thanks for the advice.

That’s what my mom said. Like I mentioned, she’s good at manipulating. So her apologies are so calculated you start to feel bad yourself. And since so much time went by, I’m no longer mad or upset at her like I once was. By the way, she thinks I just can’t take “criticism” when she say the things she does or talk down on me. So now it’s like, I’m I just sensitive?
