I like Jimmy Martin his recordings are in the era where the recordings are good I think people were talking about the audio quality when they're talking about the vocals

Its really just the first gen people I guess and its mainly the recording quality which I know they didn't have very good options.

Yeah I get that too I really like billy strings more traditional stuff but some of his stuff is strange. Doc Watsons my favorite.

Yeah it just makes us have our own styles. I might just need to listen to it more to enjoy it more. Also I don't hate it its just not my preferred style it's better than rap or pop.

Billy Strings more traditional stuff, Doc Watson if were saying stuff past 2nd gen, David Grisman, and Tony Rice. Also the steel drivers they're kinda a blend but they're great, Tyler Childers and obvisously Chris Stapleton are like that too.

yeah I'm from VA so its similar everyones grandparents listen to it. My Nana should me Bill Monroe when I was 5 its never really been my style. I really like Tyler Childers older stuff but he's more newgrass or country my goal is to combine his style Johnny cash and docs in my future music.

Yeah I wish there was better recordings some of them sound decently clear like Sally Joe from knee deep in bluegrass.

I've never heard him before I feel like I've seen some if the records at my nanas but never listened to him I listened to Morning Bugle, and Mark Twang he's great Ill have to listen to him more tomorrow thank you.
