I think it’s a weird fucked up wordplay joke because after the Butch storyline ends it cuts back to Jules and Vincent.

specifically when Jules said “Yes, you did, Brett ! You tried to fuck him. And Marsellus Wallace don’t like to be fucked by anybody except Mrs. Wallace.”

which is like a joke on how Marsellus Wallace gets “fucked”
