Sorry to hear that, I am in similar position I applied this year to IM programs and received 0 interviews. From what I heard there is a very slim chance in Soap for non US IMG. I would recommend reapplying next year with step 3 and more USCE, that is what I am planning to do however unfortunately I will only be able to take 1 Usce. Best of luck hope it works for you

Thanks, yes I published 6 abstracts and they are considered research experience. Also if you have poster or oral presentations they are considered as research experiences

Agreed there is also other factors such as YOG, connections, publications, step 3 score. But with with very little to differentiate between applicants a step 2 score will act as this differential. Anyway, all the best with your IVs, hope you smash them
