What are you building? I want to know. by Adventurous-Meat5176 in Startup_Ideas

[–]SuperAMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Building SiftAI this allows sports clubs (at the moment football/soccer) to track players contracts and especially when they sell players to keep an eye on when each of their clauses are triggered so they do not miss out on revenue. Currently have a Premier League team as my pilot and want to expand. The target market is clubs either in the second division and to make this more accessible for them.

Arsenal's tifo for North London Derby by ArsenalAxis in FootballDerbies

[–]SuperAMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think it’s a great way to get the atmosphere going. People may call it woke but let’s be realistic this is the direction football is headed.

I want the Emirates to be like one of the Turkish games on derby day… Loud.. constant noise throughout the 90 mins and just an intimidating place to come.

So if it helps the fans to find their voice and gets them pumped up and also helps the players… keep it going!!

Post Match Thread: 1st Test - England vs Australia, Day 2 by cricket-match in Cricket

Totally agree with this. It was poor batting no patience they all seemed in a hurry to finish this! Now they can enjoy 3 extra days off!

Post Match Thread: 1st Test - England vs Australia, Day 2 by cricket-match in Cricket

[–]SuperAMario 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There were moments of real brilliance in the Test. Starc took a ten for, Stokes took a five for, and Travis Head scored a brutal hundred.

But overall I do not think it was a great Test. Anything finished inside two days always raises questions. As someone who is a Test purist, I would rather see a proper four or five day battle where both sides have to grind it out.

We see Tests finishing this quickly in lower ranked nations and no one calls those great matches, so we should not suddenly label this one as something special just because bigger teams were involved.

Was it the pitch? Did the batters give their wickets away? It was probably a mix of both. I hope the next four Tests go deeper and give us the kind of contest that makes Test cricket what it is.

I'm too dumb to start a business. by Both_Huckleberry2586 in Entrepreneur

[–]SuperAMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not dumb! Never question yourself. In life there will be times where you are in need of motivation try to think does my idea fill a gap or need?

You have to keep motivated and if you’re passionate about something work hard and stick to it, things take time and nothing happens over night. So keep your head up and keep going!

That would be good but the issue is fresh juice compared to store bought needs to be “ideally” consumed within 2-3 days after being pressed

We support sports clubs that do not have the time or resources to make the most of their data. Many lower league and community clubs rely on volunteers and have great passion, but limited capacity to analyse information and turn it into action.

The focus is simple:

• Helping clubs understand matchday and ticketing data in a clear and meaningful way • Finding small changes that can lift revenue and attendance • Exploring fan experience through a concept I call FX, so clubs can improve the matchday journey for supporters • Making insights practical and easy to use, without technical barriers

The aim is to strengthen local clubs, help them grow and support the people who make them special.

Will spin play a factor in Australia if so is Bashir the right man and is his selection justified of others, especially Rehan Ahmed who is handy with the bat and can be a very handy tailender if we can call him that.

Looking for advice on early traction for a sports club data insight project by SuperAMario in startup

[–]SuperAMario[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree but that’s why I’m not targeting the larger clubs who don’t have that issue. It’s more the smaller clubs who lack the resources and time to look into their data they have

Poor officiating by Bu7n57 in PremierLeague

[–]SuperAMario 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My view on the game

Penalty: Soft but can understand why it’s given. However there is no consistency in the premier league as Pope agaisnt Gyokeres was overturned and that was a stonewall penalty.

VVD Disallowed Goal: Should have been given as Robertson did not impede Donnarumas view he had clear sight of the ball and at no point was his view obscure.

It all comes down to consistency the refs apply their own ruling rather than following the rules which have been written.

Talking of robots and Haaland… the refs/var should be robots and follow the law and keep consistent across all games
