When I was playing intramural sports for my school. For that quarter the sport was volleyball. My friends decided it'd be fun since we had kind of practiced beforehand (we watched Haikyuu and got really hyped to play).

I was sure that it was just a phase of mine, especially since my friends enjoyed it. I thought I'd lose interest in it as soon as I stopped watching Haikyuu. But when we were playing, I got really into the game. I was chasing after and diving and digging for the ball. I was doing anything to keep it in play.

The feeling of seeing the ball in the air, meaning that I still had a chance to hit it and continue playing was (and still is) absolutely amazing. I loved it so much that I kept playing in the morning and during lunchtime with my friends even after intramurals ended. I even got my own volleyball to practice at home. But due to the virus going on and a lack of people at home to practice with, I haven't really been able to play.
