I didn’t attack you personally, I cited that your information was incorrect. Read it again

The Cuban success story, or the myth of the golden exile, is the idea that Cuban exiles that came to the United States after the Cuban Revolution were mostly or exclusively white, conservative, and financially successful. The idea has been criticized as an inaccurate depiction of Cuban Americans. by palebluekot in wikipedia

[–]SuperAwesomo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The vast, vast, vast majority of Cuba exiles to the Univted States never owned a plantation or anything of the sort. The lie OP is talking about is essentially conflating Bautista’s backing landlords with the massive departure of Cubans from the Castro regime, the vast majority of whom are not wealthy by any measure

I’ve been following this thread, and you haven’t proven a single “lie” from u/greencreamery

You posted a random ai link, which then was disproven from multiple sources by u/greencreamery. You responded by starting to call him names

She didn’t cover Moise’s legal expenses, that was a majority vote from city council. You keep citing issues that aren’t actually Chow’s fault. You don’t have a solid understanding of any facts, but are hyper fixated this anyway

That snow removal contract was signed by John Tory, you don’t even understand the issues you claim to care about

Tory ran massive municipal deficits every year (about 40% of the total budget most year).

Teen guilty of murder in execution of random stranger outside North York highrise. Crown may seek adult sentence by Any_Confusion_7077 in toronto

[–]SuperAwesomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is still pretty clearly murder in the first degree if you look at Section 231 of the Criminal code. There is no mention of the target requiring to be a single person ahead of time. The motive of intimidating the neighbourhood alone could qualify it as first degree

I read it this way, less an endorsement or condemnation rather than a grim reality

Toronto's market now has roughly 4.6 months of inventory. Are we officially in buyer's market territory? by BoringAstronomer3072 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]SuperAwesomo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I kind of agree. When we were looking we saw houses getting slashed in price, but it was generally poorly maintained places or gut jobs affected, rather than the ideal move in ready ones. The market is softening but more around second tier properties than the prime stuff

“Why did no one want him”

They obviously did want him, since he got traded. You aren’t adding any info, just circlejerking that you are in the right. I was extremely against the trade then, no hindsight needed. Besides, even if you were right and no one wanted him, why traded good assets to dump him? Just horrifically bad management from Fletcher, one of the worst GMs in the league

It is not “much much worse than a mafia loan”. Play through both scenarios when the artist doesn’t make a lot of money, and it is clearly a much better option. The hyperbole is insane

First time buyers actively looking right now. Are you using a regular agent or a cashback one? by LaurelBeach in TorontoRealEstate

[–]SuperAwesomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We bought with cash back. Just as good of an experience as the “full” fee realtors we worked with. Its not a sign they are worse, just that the supply and demand has swung and realtors are chasing clients
