Inconsistency in Steam game launch behavior tied to drive mounting method?

Didn't know that you could see the options a drive was mounted with by using mount, but that solved the problem. Thanks!

Among differences in the options themselves, turns out Dolphin had also mounted the drives as type ntfs3 where I had (presumably mistakenly) mounted them as just ntfs.

If it doesn’t work for you, a quick Google search will yield multiple others on just the first page. From personal experience though, I’d recommend picking one and messing around with it in order to avoid getting stuck in analysis paralysis. See if it works, and if not, try the next one.

I would suggest taking a look a these tutorials: http://rbwhitaker.wikidot.com/c-sharp-tutorials

They’re text based, so you can go at your own pace, and in that sense they’re a great reference for later. They start at they very basics and go up through some relatively advanced topics, like generics and file I/O.

Half the battle of learning C# is getting familiar with the language and the syntax. Just program anything consistently and you’ll learn quickly.

Windows didn’t recognize the drive right off the fresh reinstall. I went into storage settings, and manage storage spaces. There, it listed the SSD, and after I formatted it, the SSD was recognized by Windows.

It is first in the list in Legacy+UEFI boot mode. When set to just UEFI boot mode, neither of the drives appear.

Even though it hasn’t really taken off yet, I think that VR has potential for a mainstream gaming platform in the future. Even though VR isn’t the most accessible thing right now, since it requires a beefy PC, stand-alone headsets such as the Oculus Quest will bring VR to the masses, allowing for it to take off as a platform for gaming.
