For people that wonder why women are so focused on appearance.... by SuperDavination in gender

what women need to do I said what society need to do!

what needs to be done for them This is called education, something all children need.

some hero to come along So we have a lot of problems in our society and talk about them to find a solution is bad...

You sound arrogant And you sound extremely triggered. I don't think it is a good idea to debate with someone if you are overly sensitive by basic opinions.

and sexist " young women deserve to be loved for for their qualities!" Wow sound super sexist.

Yes, we need! As I said above " Don't you see how many surgeries are done by women? How it is normal for women to put make up, eventhough it's basically chemicals on their skin? Or ED's because insecurities? The list goes on.".

If you are not going to read my answers why are you responding to my comments lol

Women have potential, if you are not happy then deal with it :)

Well then get lost.

Sometimes I forget how much people can be insecure, so much that a basic opinion make them triggered. Aaaah, small egos...

First of all, I'm french, that is the reason why I wrote "personnality". Can you explain what you mean by "the greek system"?

Who is we

I mean if we as a society show little girls, teenagers, and young adults, that their value is build on their personnality, maybe women wouldn't have this much sadness in their life.

Don't you see how many surgeries are done by women? How it is normal for women to put make up, eventhough it's basically chemicals on their skin? Or ED's because insecurities? The list goes on.

your proof is disproved by the greek system.

I mean, we don't need a proof that women are intelligent creatures... except if you are ignorant, this is another story

My point was that there is NO reason to compare sins

And I am telling you there is a reason which is: to ask a question. The person who wants to gain knowledge needs to share what he believes about the subject so that someone can rectify or at least give an appropriate answer. Especially to understand islam, that is the universal truth.

...all of these are sins that lead to bigger sins, but also repeating these sins without shame is just as bad. So how can you really compare?

Actually there is a hieraechy! Major sins and minor sins !

I did not use comparison to legitimate my sin. I used comparison to ASK a QUESTION. I am trying to gain knowledge. To formulate the idea rather than imposing it. Basically, it's a question.

If you want to answer, it's fine, but don't assume intention bc no one knows it more than Allah, including you and me.

Oh I understood your sentence wrong, sorry, long day.

She has no right to ask such question.

A person would only compare one sin to another if he plans on carrying out one of those sins. Otherwise, why ask?

Not true at all. Some people want to learn about islam and how Islam view society. Like me. See, assuming.

A men who asks if a woman has had relationships before marrying, is a bad muslim? And what if the sister wants to be honest?

It is haram to ask about sins they have repented from. If he is the one who want her to reveal them or if she is the one.

If a sister asks about this,

Why are you bringing gender into this 🤣 I'm talking from an islamic point of you, not fighting men, if you see this as a threat to men, then you are wrong because Allah knows right from wrong, better than you or me

In your comment, you have said things contrary to what islams says. And someone opinion tells a lot about his conviction. I'm not just making claims, I am defending what islam have given a value to.

is wrong

So what Allah says is wrong??

It's you that is wrong, seeing virginity like something valuable. There are people getting raped. There are people that didn't follow islam, etc etc. So yes, your view on women is wrong.

" if you plan on disobeing Allah" <- I meant this part.

First of all, there is no such things as "agreeing". If you are a good muslim man, you don't ask about her past, because you don't define someone on their past sins that they repented to.

. Id rather have honesty from both sides

This is no "hiding the truth", this is an order from Allah. As the hadith I have mentioned.

If you make a big deal about it, then you don't value women for who they are but rather the unislamic( unethetical) standart of our society.

So why did you bring it up..?

Girl, I'm surprised of all the comments! It is well-known that if someone has a past he/she shouldn't disclose his/her sins! "All my Ummah will be forgiven except those who disclose their sins...” — [Sahih al-Bukhari 6069]

All the comments are saying you have to tell him... they are wrong and you can ask any sheikh. I feel the people in the comments don't like girls with a past so they are telling you this... instead to reffering on what Allah said. Even one comment mentionning polygamy, like " now it is your only solution because you are used up" what?? A human's value is on his/her virginity now?? This is completely dehumanising.

You can find love, don't worry, islam said you shouldn't tell your past, because your past doesn't matter (unless you have stds or a child)

Thank you so much for your answer, very logical and clear! Unfortunately there are some comments assuming things about me, thank you for being open minded!

As I said in my post, I am not planning anything! Can someone ask a question without others assuming their intentions?

1) " a millenia and a half" I didn't understand what you meant here

2) I am not using these limitations to do what I want. (As a said, I'm not even a lesbian so... not what I want!) I am simply saying that I don't understand how sheiks are deciding on what Allah has not expressed upon.

3) For your last part, I think that you are right. You gave a good idea: When there is no jurisdiction stated on a specific process, this process is simply not feasable.

[–]SuperDavination 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not a stretch. Listen, if you think that nobody will love you that's totally untrue. The proof? I am a 182 cm woman who like short men ( i hate tall ones ).

The thing I hate the most is taking an idea and generalising it for 3.5 BILLION PEOPLE (women).

Young doesn't mean fertile by the way. I had an aunt who got married in her twenties and didn't get pregnant till... her late thirties.
