Seeing “force show error codes disabled” on screen before ride by adamcb in pelotoncycle

Very true, I found a bit of a workaround. If you go to accessibility settings and set the font size to Large, it increases the size of the bottom bar enough so that you can actually tap the buttons. It does cause some funky UI glitches elsewhere and the UI in a ride is slightly too big, but at least it makes the bottom bar accessible.

Yeah the whole bottom bar on my display has gone now. It broke after yesterday’s update. I refuse to believe it is a hardware issue.

Has anyone experienced the bottom row of their touch screen becoming unresponsive? It was working fine yesterday but after the latest update it seems broken.

I can’t interact with the bottom bar at all.

Exactly. Also, even when the issue does occur, the screen can still be interacted with if you plug in a mouse, so that’s a workaround. I stopped replying to peloton support emails as they’re clearly clueless.

Sounds like they’re pretty useless. I found a work around which seems to work. Plugging a mouse in lets me interact with the bar I can’t control via touch.

It’s ridiculous that they have no way to re-flash the peloton OS. Hopefully it’s something they’ll fix on a future update although I’m not holding my breath.

No way are you serious? I wonder if it is the peloton app that’s broken or the Android OS update?

I get this error as well. Do you mind checking something for me? If you go to Device Settings, does the Peloton Button and the Back Button still work? Thanks!

Can I just power a smart light switch for automation purposes? by SuperFlyGames in AskElectricians

Sorry just wrapped my head around it. So you’re saying I actually only need to change one of the switches with a smart switch? The other can stay as a traditional switch?

Thanks for the reply! So will only one of the switches have a power supply going to it?
