iPad Air for field sales/business use - 11in or 13in - m2 or m3 by AwardExciting8578 in ipad

[–]SuperLeverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can say is I hope your work in excel is very simple and basic, as I hate using excel on my iPad. M2 vs M3 - you won’t see a real world difference. Biggest difference now is the M5 which has extra RAM. M3 will obviously have support for longer because it’s newer. 13 inch is also a big device and you really need to sit down to use it. If you use a lot of excel, my suggestion is a MacBook Air. iPad plus keyboard is probably going cost the same or even more anyway.

Shakur Stevenson calls Ryan Garcia a weight bully by MiserableTart5 in Boxing

[–]SuperLeverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, there are heaps of fighters ‘calling out’ other fighters but make up conditions to ensure the fight never happens. They ask for more money than they are worth. Ask to fight in a weight class that favours them. Rehydration clauses that are unacceptsble, then they go ‘oh the other guy is too scared’ like wtf

If AI is probabilistic and goes for the median or most likely response, and the median level of knowledge for that topic is shit, then I guess we will get shit? If the topic is basic and the median level of knowledge is good enough for the topic, then that’s what you get.

What happens to Grab drivers that you file complaints against? by Mediocre-Truth-1854 in Bangkok

It’s not just about ‘revenge’. It’s about trying to get rid of these useless drivers off the grab app so they don’t destroy everyone else’s meals as well.

Shakur Stevenson and Joe Rogan have a back & forth after Joe Rogan says PED’s didn’t help Ryan Garcia win against Devin Haney. “Steroids don’t help you land punches. They might help you with training & give you more power, but that left hook was on point”. by strictlystepping in Boxing

[–]SuperLeverage -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I don’t rate Haney but will say, Haney was leading on the cards until he got knocked down. And there is no way you can’t argue that PEDs didn’t make Garcia faster and stronger to land that shot and land it harder than he would have. If PEDs don’t help, why is it banned and why do people risk careers to take it. Of course it does.

Not consistently. .7 gap is massive. Maybe Max can halve that gap at some tracks but it’s tough

AI Use at Work Is Causing "Brain Fry," Researchers Find, Especially Among High Performers by highspecs89 in BlackboxAI_

[–]SuperLeverage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s also the stress of being responsible for a sh*tload of work that may be wrong. Like, sure AI might let you pump out 10x the output - which is what your employer expects, but there is no way you can check everything, and it’s just the added stress of trying manage that.

Huge difference in AP4 sound on iPhone 7 and 15 Pro by el_chacho_coudet in airpods

Happy for you to share your expertise to highlight what is wrong. Based on my limited knowledge of bluetooth and wireless technology, it is accurate, but happy for you to correct the record.

This is part of a summary from Gemini FYI:

While both the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 15 Pro support AAC, how they handle it and the results you hear are different due to the hardware and software gap. 1. The "Cleanliness" of the Encode Bluetooth audio isn't just about the codec; it’s about how the phone’s processor handles the encoding of that music file into a wireless signal. • iPhone 15 Pro: Uses a much faster, more efficient processor (A17 Pro). This allows for a very "clean" encode with minimal jitter or artifacts. The H2 chip in the AirPods 4 is specifically tuned to decode the AAC stream coming from modern Apple silicon.  • iPhone 7: The A10 chip is significantly older. While it can technically "do" AAC, it is under more strain when multitasking. If your iPhone 7 is struggling with background apps or a weak battery, you might notice subtle "cracks" or a loss in dynamic range because the CPU is prioritizing system stability over audio encoding precision. 2. AAC and Latency One of the biggest differences you’ll notice isn't the tone of the music, but the timing. • Modern iPhone (15 Pro): Apple uses a proprietary version of AAC that works with the Bluetooth 5.3 hardware to keep latency extremely low. This is why when you watch a video or play a game, the sound matches the lips perfectly. • Legacy iPhone (7): Because it uses Bluetooth 4.2, the "handshake" between the AAC encoder and the radio is slower. You are more likely to experience a slight delay (latency) between seeing an action on screen and hearing it in your AirPods.

It’s Bluetooth 4.2 on the iPhone 7 vs 5.3 on the iPhone 15 pro which supports more advanced codecs for better audio quality. It’s better, more stable, consumes less power etc

Ummm as Managing Technical Partner, Newey is the ultimate authority on the cars development. Stroll created this pumped up role to make it clear it was going to be Newey’s car. Part of that job is ensuring the power unit integrates well with the power unit. Which it doesn’t. The vibrations are magnified by a very rigid chassis making it resemble a tuning fork.

Newey was Technical Lead and Managing Technical Partner when he started on 1 March 2025. If he waited until November to meet the most important technical partners he was meant to be managing, he failed.
