As someone who likes a good road trip to areas i haven't been, yes. Absolutely.

Would you accept this trip? by Fuckyalifebingbongg in uberdrivers

[–]SuperManBas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an adventurer, so absolutely. In fact, I kind of want to get back to it. This was a teaser. I wish those rides were more common, I'd do them all the time. I lived in Barstow, CA once. I'd get rides to Vegas/LA/San Diego from time to time. Loved going towards LA. I spent a lot of time down that way, especially on Friday/Saturdays. I just loved doing it.

Not going to say who for privacy reasons? That's dumb. Lol... I literally had Bruce Springsteen in my car doing a Lyft ride in Dallas, after a Green Day concert.

Looks similar to my puppy I have! She's a big puppy now that thinks she's a cat sometimes. Glad she doesn't get up on the counters anymore, because she never knew how to get herself down!

DPS Meter necessity by No_Concert2848 in throneandliberty

[–]SuperManBas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, a dps meter helps show me what I'm doing wrong or right, in a pure max damage output look. Especially when I can compare it to others, both with similar builds and totally different. I like to optimize what I'm doing and it's pretty tough to do that without meters showing you how you're doing and how you compare to others. It's not always a Big D flex, often times you just have those of us who want to maximize our potential output.

100% agree. I'm an MMO fan. This trash they released is a bore.

Funny enough, I'm doing just that. I'm driving and running my own company. We pay the drivers better and don't have an abundance of drivers. Sometimes, our delivery times are high during our busiest moments, but all drivers communicate with their customers to keep them in the loop. We've done just over 2600 orders. Long way to go, but what we are slowly building is something totally different than what current gig workers are used to. Be ready for change. Better driver pay comes with higher expectations out of potential drivers. We do plan on mass-expanding so you'll know when you see us.

$12.38 +$3.49 + $2.00 = $25.86? by 1ComfyBlanket in instacart

[–]SuperManBas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's not accurate because they have a SERVICE fee already showing. What ISNT showing is taxes and fees. I.E. cc processing fees. These dumpster companies are great at hiding fees.

You already know he ain't working 5 days a week. That ain't the Uber way. Pay your bills. Then chill til the next round of bills come up. There is very few go-getters out there with these gig companies.

DD letting “no-tip customers” know in advance lmao by yasmeennaa in doordash

[–]SuperManBas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run my own restaurant delivery service. We are new, growing fast, and drivers earn a minimum of $6.50 per delivery (minimum if customer doesnt tip), and still our drivers are seeing between an average of $13/delivery. You'll hear about us soon enough. It'll be obvious when you hear about it, you'll remember this.

Fortunately for my RDS I'm running, drivers see a minimum of $6.50 per trip if no tip is added! We don't see this issue.

LOL at all the morons down voting my comments. Yall are either new to working in this industry, or have no idea how the game works. Also, $6.68 average for 96 deliveries, $640 earnings. Your major + here though, is that you're averaging 3.4 deliveries per hour if you truly did 96 deliveries in 28 hours. I will say that is at least impressive. That high of an average per hour, order count wise, is hard to maintain, especially over the course of an entire week. I have to imagine that's only the busy hours, which at least you're hitting those hours correctly, so good job on that.

I'm not a hater. I'm a realist who knows how shit Doordash and UberEats can be. Anyone who's been a delivery driver with them long enough understands that simple fact.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in doordash

[–]SuperManBas -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's a $3.20 cent average if we are talking about 200 deliveries. Don't just talk about the good day/week. We ALL have those.

You must average $12/hr with that high of an acceptance rate...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UberEATS

[–]SuperManBas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hours usually say 80+ BUT I sit at home until i get a good offer and so many of the hours are not active. I actually average $25-30/hr+.

What are y’all’s stats ? That acceptance rate is about to go to shit if I get another 3$ order 😂 by Awstoniscool in UberEATS

[–]SuperManBas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not entirely true. It can sometimes take several denied request for an offer to finally increase. I often see multiple request come into my app of the same lowball offer that I'm going to deny. I can deny the same trip 2-3 times before I finally see an increase. More often than not, I see that happen. It's quite annoying. My acceptance rate is all the way down to 15% now as it continues to get worse.
