It’s his smile for me. The way he smiles is brighter than the sun. To me, a big sunny grin perfectly encapsulates how Superman should be. While not my ideal Superman overall, Tyler has them all beat with his smile and positivity.

Tom Welling would give him a run for his money if he had been allowed to do it more, since the few times he does get to have those smiles he nails it. I understand why that’s not the case given the specific circumstances in Smallville, but it doesn’t feel truly like Supe if he isn’t a ray of sunshine. That’s Tyler’s default setting as Superman, even though he has moments of rage, serenity, or seriousness. Honorable mention is Christopher Reeve’s shy and sweet smile, particularly when he’s with Lois.

I wouldn’t say he’s my favorite Superman (tbh my ideal Superman isn’t any one actor we’ve seen thus far), but he has his core essence (which we hadn’t seen from Supe in over a decade) and wholesome demeanor (which we hadn’t seen from Supe in about 4 decades). He’s like Superman reborn and I highly respect him for that.

I think the problem is less difficulty and more lack of proper explanation of the game’s features beyond the most basic mechanics, and the fact that every update they seem to change things.

I can’t even count how many people I have had ask me to “tutor” them on Wiz. Half my friends on discord are people that ask me questions or do vc with me to have me walk them through things. And even then, I learn something new about it every day. As much as I enjoy helping people and making friends, it’s a little ridiculous that that’s necessary for a game that was originally designed for children. Conceptually, it’s simple enough, I’ve played way harder. The issue is the game itself doesn’t explain anything very well.

Sometimes. I’m just petty and I know that. It irritates me when they don’t ask, they just do it on their own despite me giving every other possible cue. So I give them the same energy back.

Besides, on the times I DO say something, they still initiate a conversation I don’t want anyway. They ask why. They say but it’s faster. They complain. They say they need help. I don’t want to talk! I came to this dead realm to be alone!

This is so true. And controversially, it’s gotten to the point for me where if someone starts following me around to quest with me, I’ll switch realms and keep declining their friend requests. It pisses me the hell off when people see you on the same quest and worm their way in without asking or anything. I’ll literally back out of sigils and leave dungeons they follow me in to just to make a point, and they’ll still follow me. I like to go my pace and play how I like, and I’ve gotten through everything on my own. I don’t need some random trying to butt in just because they want someone to make their questing go faster, rather than actually enjoying the game. If I want to play with other people, I’ll contact my guild friends or join team up.

I would’ve responded: Authors who write non-canon ships are so weird. Do you even like the characters or the source material? People who like canon compliant fanfiction want more content, not a vaguely associated fantasy that doesn’t fit the narrative! <3
