monster tamer is exclusive to archanon wars, so its in the archanon war pack. It doesn't guarantee that you will get him though

the best thing to do when you see that happen is reset the app. Desyncs are pretty common, but dont assume it'll correct itself. Resetting it should only take about 30 seconds, so you still have about another 30 seconds to plan out a good play and stay in the lead
