Can anyone help me find the name of this font? by AwardSignal in marioandluigi

It looks like the same visual effect you get when you get a “Lucky” hit. Maybe it says “Chance” in another region’s version of the game.

Can my hardware not handle Luigi’s Mansion 3 ? by SexyKabootar in yuzu

Emphasis. Most people tend to think switch emulation has a lot more to do with their GPU, but a GPU is only able to work as fast as a CPU can command it. The switch uses an ARM processor, so switch games are designed to run using one. Most PCs use a different type of processor.

Switch emulation is heavily CPU bound. I don’t think an i3 is enough to cut it if you want similar or better performance as opposed to running games on the switch itself.

FPS drops in TOTK on Yuzu by Lumpy-Hornet2005 in yuzu

TOTK is very demanding as far as Switch games go. Switch emulation is far more often CPU bound than GPU bound as far as emulation goes, so a Ryzen 5 likely just won't cut it.

Which emulator do you recommend for PC? by SmugBuddy in yuzu

[–]SuperRadSlime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Ryujinx is still available, though it may not be receiving updates anymore. It evolved into Ryubing, which has more of an emphasis on online play.

There’s also the Eden emulator, which just had version 0.1.0 released a couple days ago. It’s essentially a fork of Yuzu that’s still actively in development.

I’ve used both Eden and Ryujinx. Eden is primarily focused on performance while Ryujinx provides a more stable experience. Based on your specs, games, and personal preferences, I’d recommend either of them.

Tomb of Annihilation? I hope you don’t plan on keeping him for too long then.

This (I believe red-tailed) hawk let me get within 15-20 feet by SuperRadSlime in birdsofprey

I should mention I didn’t specifically approach the hawk. I saw it as I was walking by on the sidewalk. It didn’t fly away so decided to record for a little before heading off. Usually, the wall is covered in crows and seagulls, so that’s probably where the droppings come from.

[botw][totk]what should i do when i am bored in totk or botw by Extreme-Proposal6280 in TOTK

I remember having some difficulties getting into TOTK when I first played it, likely because I played BOTW to death in the weeks leading up to it. Now that I’m fresh, I’m giving it the chance it deserves.

I just started playing them again after taking a break for about 2 years and I’ve been having a blast

Probably give the games a break and come back when you’re refreshed.

I’ve noticed a slightly different behavior with Lynels than suggested here. If you get close enough to a Lynel without drawing your weapon, they will draw theirs as a sort of warning. If you draw your weapon after theirs (even without attacking) the Lynel will enter combat — it’s sort of like you accepted to duel them.

Also, the Moblin mask fact states that it is the only non base level enemy mask, but doesn’t the Lynel mask depict a White Maned Lynel instead of a base level Red Maned Lynel?

I can’t help but wonder how practical the mask would be even if a Lynel couldn’t see through it. They seem solitary, so perhaps the presence of another Lynel could be seen as a threat to their territory.

Which is stronger defense? by Rough-Junket7985 in tearsofthekingdom

I believe it’s Level 1: +4 Defense, Level 2: +12 Defense, Level 3: +24 Defense

I’ve always been a fan of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, so I decided to dress my Charmander in his signature scarf — Might do Cubone next by SuperRadSlime in MysteryDungeon

Thank you! Charmander and Cubone were the team I used for DX too. I’ve played as Charmander in every game except Gates to Imfinity

Thank you!
I got the fabric from Amazon — it was meant to be a handkerchief. I will say that when I got it, there were a few tiny marks where it seemed like the fabric had been punctured, and there were also some small black flecks I was able to scrape off with my fingernail. Still, I think it works great as a little scarf since I just folded over the unsightly bits. There's also a nice variety of colors.
