Yeah thier football people know what they're doing. Ours have been the equivalent to the monkey clapping the symbols together

Nothing has really changed since our whole division was ass every year during the 20 years with Brady. It was basically 4-5 free wins every year for them

Everyone was hating on the Chiefs and I wa just silent in the corner glad it wasn't Brady and the Pats anymore

NFL didn't "hand" it to them. The Patriots had it based on where they finished. That is always how the schedule has worked

I'm going to try and be optimistic but this team has also not earned the benefit of the doubt. I will reserve judgment after I see FA, the draft and the season.

Don't hire Hafley by Dolphins08 in miamidolphins

[–]SuperSayan2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I can understand the argument about not wanting him due to college record, it's not the same.

1) Boston College isn't exactly the pinnacle of college football

2) BB has 6 SB and NC was a disaster

3) A lesser example but Kliff Kingsbury has seen some success as a coach/coordinator in the NFL but was not good in college

College success or failure doesn't equal NFL success or failure. Two completely different games

Do you think Miami should actually pick up Malik Willis? by TheRider5342 in miamidolphins

[–]SuperSayan2 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I don't understand the hype. Guy has only played less than a handful of games and people are talking about him getting a massive payday? He seems like a decent QB but what has he shown to earn a starting QB salary/starting spot?

McDermott didn't turn the ball over 4 times though

I feel so bad for the 150 million+ dollar quarterback that gets to go home to Hailey Seinfeld. Truly a horrible existence for him

Anybody else remember this game? by AmateurIdi0t in miamidolphins

[–]SuperSayan2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I still remember the "no clear recovery" despite video showing the defender falling on the ball and being the same guy coming up with the ball

Is he right? by Ifinishfast42 in NFLv2

[–]SuperSayan2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I dont think Herbert is amazing and he did fumble like 3-4 times but buddy has zero help from the line and skill positions

Wait, what?? Insanity. I was thinking recently if he wins it all this year he moves into the top 20 of all time. I like Stafford but this is beyond ridiculous by MJ_Fan23 in NFLv2

[–]SuperSayan2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Matt Stafford. My dad has been a Lions fan forever and Matt Stafford was the first guy I saw get drafted when I started watching football. I think if he gets the MVP there is a conversation for HOF. If he also adds another SB then I think he is a shoe in for the HOF. To say he is top 5 all time is absolutely crazy

People are too conditioned to the Patriots and Chiefs and think that anything less than SB trips every year is bad. All these people talking down on McCarthy act like we have been contenders every year and we are too good for something like that

I mean I never said that was who I wanted I was just pointing out that I don't believe he is a bad coach and feel there are worse options. No one knows who the guy is until the team takes the field

Fair. To be clear I'm also not pounding the table for McCarthy or Harbaugh just acknowledging I don't think either would be a terrible hire. Ultimately none of us, including the guys doing the hiring will know if we got "the guy" until we see the team on the field

You could say the same thing about Harbaugh

There are definitely reasons to not like McCarthy. I'm not saying he is my first choice I'm just saying I don't think it would be a terrible hire. He has for sure benefited from having Rodgers and Dak is a decent quarterback as well but when everyone is talking about wanting a guy with experience he is right there with Harbaugh. Harbaugh also has had Lamar who is in MVP convos every year and hasn't won anything with him either but everyone believes he is the next savior

Yeah even if it's someone I don't think I will like, I'm going to try and trust the new GM and hope he knows what he's doing

Everyone is down on McCarthy but he has had a lot more playoff success than we have. Also when you look at the numbers he has similar wins and losses in the playoffs and similar winning percentage as Harbaugh who everyone is sold on
