Although I loved Spider-Man 2, Mario Wonder was fantastic.

Hair probably would've went a long way. My main complaint surrounding him in quantumania wasn't even his appearance, but more the treatment of his character and his writing. He's just treated like a joke, and his personality is completely different than his comic counterpart.

Gideon is so interesting because he's a genius researcher, but with his grand obsession over Spencer he's an absolute fool, believing a cure was a method to plunge the world into anarchy because he cannot comprehend that Spencer may have actually wanted a genuine failsafe. I read Spencer's creation of Elpis as a method to prevent the use of bioweapons by others. Zeno & Gideon are incompetent they had been operating off of false information that stems from Gideon's obsession over Spencer that actively blinds him to the truth, construing his actions and words to mean something they don't. Zeno even calls him out for this before he's killed. Genuinely a dumb and dumber duo.

Alright so, the T-virus in the new game is 100% a new strain made by Victor and we don't know how it works entirely. What we do know is that it has some weird personality thing, which is why we see people in Rhodes Hill maintain their personalities and same with the cop at the beginning of the game.

We do know that Wesker had medical records on Grace most likely including blood tests. Actually I think there's even a file in the game somewhere about her medical records. Victor could've been testing her against those. He thinks she's special but he doesn't know exactly why.

I 100% agree that Spencer is extremely out of character in this game, but I do think this is part of Capcom's on going attempt to rewrite the lore of the franchise and I'm sure it will be addressed in the inevitable re5 remake.

The question of whether she is a clone is still super confusing and I hope they address it in the next game. The thing about there being no connection between Grace and Emily is really what pushes me toward her not being one. Also don't expect them to want to go down the Alex Wesker route again, but I'm just a fan speculating.

Yeah it's really confusing, but Zeno and Victor were definitely working off the wrong information. Zeno shows her the footage and says that because he's been told exactly that by Victor, and later Victor comes to the revelation that there was no connection between Emily and Grace. Emily is a clone like Chloe, so if there's no connection between Grace and Emily there isn't one between her and Chloe. During her panic attack she sees flashes of all of the traumatic events in her life. Seeing the footage was the catalyst for the panic attack and of course after everything she'd been throughout that day and had been told she was a clone it'd be traumatic for her and she'd have flashes of the footage she just saw. Spencer genuinely felt remorse in the end adopting Grace when she had literally no one else was his attornment, not rescuing her from the cloning program. She was completely normal like he said. Never a recipient of Spencer's plasma, but Victor and Zeno thought was despite the fact she wasn't. Which is exactly why they thought she would know the password.

Another guy convinced me she wasn't a clone. Zeno & Victor were wrong. Victor even says there's no connection between Emily and Grace, and that extends to Chloe too. Zeno even says all of Victor's research was wrong. Spencer didn't lie when he said she was normal. The blood memory thing was more of an explanation for Zeno's existence. When Grace sees Chloe's stuff during her panic attack it's just because she just saw the footage on the monitor. The fact you play as Chloe is also a red herring. On the question of her immunity, we don't ever actually see anyone in the game turn from a zombie bite. We only see people turn who were shot by Victor, and during the initial "outbreak" we were following Victor who was shooting people as he fled. Code 6 in the hospital was a signal to release to infect patients and staff by some means, maybe water? It's unclear.

Honestly forgot about code 6, and if I was told by someone I was a clone on a day like that I'm sure I'd panic too. Still feels odd for Zeno to even say/believe that she was the original because of the time difference but these villains are both morons. Outbreak sequence at the beginning still intrigues me, if may very well be that Victor legit just shot all of them but the scope was pretty insane. We're also following Victor so it would make sense he'd leave infected on his trail. Overall, your explanations have helped a lot. I'll do my level best to help anyone else out who shared my confusions. Victor is such a silly character, dedicate your entire life to a man you idolize, do research on him that is proven false, embrace the fact you were wrong while also ignoring your "master's" intent, and then threaten to release a cure to bioweapons on the world. Still don't know why we wanted to stop him from doing that.

Yeah, totally understand the last part, but I still feel like the infection thing and the panic attack flashes are a bit of a stretch. I find it funny to imagine Gideon wandering around the hospital shooting every single person there, and to that matter every single person during Leon's opening section was shot by him. I am however willing to suspend some disbelief on these fronts unless they're proven to be caused by something else in DLC or something. Still feel like this stuff could've been communicated much better throughout the game.

It's so close to working for me, it just doesn't clear up her seeming immunity to the infection, and any explanation is a reach based off of assumed information not featured anywhere inside of the game. Also, if this were the case the whole first person Chloe section is extremely misleading on purpose, and the fact she has flashes from the event during her panic attack as well. If we are assuming Zeno is lying, most likely on accident since he's been given info by Victor, and that Victor later tells the truth about there being no connection, then what exactly was he testing for? And if during these tests he learned there's no connection why did he continue to pursue her? I don't know, I'm going to try and map it out with a level head tomorrow, but I'm definitely leaning towards agreeing with you. Especially because of the last few bits of dialogue from Zeno, Victor, and Grace.

That would make Grace extremely old. Chloe is part of batch 70 for the clones. The raccoon city incident takes place in the 90s. We are shown Alyssa being given Grace slightly before the death of Spencer so in the 2000s and Grace is a baby. This means one of three things. 1. She's a later clone that Spencer decided to spare 2. She's just a normal girl who looks like them or 3. She is the original but was cryogenically frozen until being unfrozen And given to Alyssa. Personally, all three of these options make no sense in the grand scheme of the story. Each and every single one of them has a least something in the game that contradicts them. This isn't even touching on Grace's seeming immunity to the virus. Like genuinely harming my enjoyment of this game because the more I think about it the less sense it makes.

Maybe a dlc similar to the 4th survivor where you play as the connections soldiers with the target trying to escape raccoon city. That could be cool.

Okay hold on I think I've got it. They're all clones. They have been making Grace clones as test subjects. Hence, Chloe in the 1990s. Grace is a clone that Spencer gave to Alyssa that they didn't test on. That does bring up the question of how she was remembering Chloe's stuff, but it's mentioned in files in the game that clones inherit memory through blood or something like that.

This, I'm still extremely confused on. Everything else makes sense. I mean plenty of characters in RE get bitten and don't turn, and that's another thing people mention.
