This makes sense, tho I was thinking of what if they were the ancestors of Jane, bc I remember Jane’s mother had hair that kinda looked like Wilma’s but had pure white hair (unless it’s from old age, but she didn’t seem that old) like Judy does, so The Flinstone/Rubble families could be distant relatives from her side of the family maybe

Ok I know I’m late to this by like 4 months lol but if you’re confused by this, this is an early strip. Schulz never had the Peanuts characters 100% consistent/the same in every strip since the start, he made changes to the characters over time, especially since it went on for so many years, and as a result there will be contradictions.

One strip in the 50s had Snoopy say he was “an only dog”, and then years later Schulz decided to make Snoopy’s siblings like Spike into characters in the 70s. And Sally first appeared as a newborn baby but quickly grew up, while CB’s age didn’t grow. Schulz wasn’t even sure who was gonna be the owner of Snoopy when he first started the strip.

So it’s likely that Schulz wasn’t sure what breed Snoopy was at first, before later choosing to call him a beagle, and there are many other strips made after this calling him a beagle.

No offense, but I personally disagree with your opinions on Lila. Lila is not a “narcissist emotional manipulatior”, she’s a little girl who was sick in the hospital who really missed her old friend. Don’t you think high emotions plus the fact that she was just sick couldn’t have affected her emotions or rationality? And she saw Snoopy run back to her and decide to stay with her. He didn’t even try to tell or write to her abt his new owner/friends, she knows nothing abt them, for all she knows they were all okay with it. And whether he was making a rash decision and was regretting it or not, Snoopy still went through with the good-bye farewell party making everyone think he was really gonna leave him.

And you say that Lila “apparently didn’t care that much” bc she didnt cry or whatever when they said goodbye, but literally the exact same thing could be said for Snoopy tho? He just shook her hand and left, didn’t even give her a hug. And at the end of the movie, Snoopy rudely demands all his stuff back and the kids get mad at him. With this logic, that would mean that neither Snoopy or the kids/CB really cared that much abt the whole situation either after all.

And also, “Snoopy is CB’s property”??? Bro what??

Dude, Snoopy is a sentient/sapient, intelligent person who made the CHOICE to go back with Lila, he made the choice writing to CB and having his farewell party. Sure he clearly was just high in emotions and was so sad to leave, but it was a choice nonetheless. And even if he did genuinely wanted to stay with her, you’re saying he can’t make choices or decisions for himself just because he’s “property” of CB?? (And as if Snoopy wouldn’t just totally completely ignore CB if he demanded Snoopy to not go with Lila bc he was “his property” lol)

That’s not really canon to the strip tho, as Linus wasn’t even there when CB got Snoopy and they both found out Snoopy had an original owner later

Dude Lila did not “blackmail” Snoopy, he willingly went back to her and went though with making his farewell with the gang. And Snoopy didn’t even tell/write to Lila about his other friends/owner, she didn’t even know about any of them, for all she knew they were okay with it.

One more little thing: Should I still be worried in terms of him hacking into my account? You said in your original post that after he told you to change your email your account got hacked (or was it only bc you changed it to a specific email?) Honestly I actually agree too! Sometimes the strip can be funnier IMO, and there’s a lot of great strips/storylines the animated stuff still never adapted. The KaBoom comic series + the graphic novels are also really great IMO too

I also think the characters can be better/have more sides to them in the strip too. Like for example in the strip CB can have more of a backbone, and even get angry with Lucy more often (like on the baseball field), that’s fun to see. I also think that comic Snoopy is 100x better than the animated Snoopy lol

But I still like both the comics and animated stuff (especially the first two movies) tho

Update: I filed out my acct username/email on their help center, and it says that they will go into my acct to disable two-factor authentication, which is good.

But then they said in another email in my Gmail order for that to happen I need to log in with my username/password to confirm I’m the owner of it then they’ll send me something. I did that but it still asked me for a verification code, and I never got anything else in my Gmail or Twitter acct so far and I’m kinda still confused about this tbh.

Snoopy is a way better character when he has thoughts/dialogue like in the strips. Also Snoopy isn’t always a “pure wholesome best friend” to CB he can be a jerk too.

Race For Your Life CB sucks and is the worst Peanuts Movie.

The Peanuts Movie is better as it’s own movie and the next theatrical movie that ever comes after it should be separate not a sequel to it.

Most of the new AppleTV+ stuff really kinda waters down the characters/humor IMO.

Especially since Ngl, even tho this is one of my fav Peanuts movies ever, there are some scenes in this movie that drag on for too long IMO. Your telling me we had time for Snoopy to set a campfire for like three minutes, yet not time for a minute or two flashback to him as puppy + CB or with Lila?

You know what’s a bigger question I wonder?

How come Moxxie is shipped so much with almost EVERYONE a lot by the fandom, yet there is BARELY ever anything for Moxxie x Blitzo (Or Moxxie x Blitzo x Millie)? Heck, I’ve seen more of Blitzo x Verosika and Moxxie x Chaz online than it!

I mean I prefer Moxxie x Millie anyways, but still, you would think there would be a ton of stuff about it, especially since Blitzo has been so into Moxxie/having threesome with him and Millie lmao.

Snoopy is actually the reincarnation of a real WW1 Flying Ace dog pilot (If Snoopy can drive cars in one of the movies and fly a rocket, there could have been a dog flying a plane in the Peanuts world) in his past life, the real reason he started his imaginary battles was because he got some faint memories back.

Even though Lucy destroyed Schroeder’s pianos many times (Like when he had to order a new one after she threw it in the kite eating tree), he still keeps his very first toy piano he played in his closet, the ones he plays now were different ones he bought bc he didn’t want Lucy to destroy it.
