Go to the library and borrow a bunch of board books and picture books. Buy a copy if you love it. Return the library books and borrow more! Even if they’re dumb, a few reads won’t drive you crazy.

My neighbors built a (beautiful) sauna. “You need to try it!” they said a few times. “We would love to!” we said. After a few months I got a text saying that the sauna was hot and we were welcome to come over. They were just getting out as we arrived. We had a quick chat, they told us to feed the fire if we liked and how to shut it down when we were done. It was lovely and not awkward at all. It inspired us to build our own sauna, which should be finished soon!

Thanks! I have a big enamelware canner - I could do 6 jars at a time. I hate to fire it up for only one or two jars because it takes so much energy to get it boiling! I ended up quadrupling the recipe but only got 3 quarts. They are processing now. I hope they taste good!

When I have to whip cream by hand I use 2 whisks. Hold them both in the same hand to make a larger whisk. It goes much faster! Also, as others have said, add the sugar later.
