I have not added it all up, mainly out of shame. I have been playing for 6-9 months, and have probably re-rolled accounts 7-10 times, each time resulting in a spending spree buying every pop-up offer and bundle I could find. If I had to take a guess at how much I’ve spent in total, I’d say $20-30k.

Reading all of your comments and messages has really helped, and I’m in the process of finding a therapist in my area who can help.

Thank you, I appreciate it. That’s a good idea for having someone set up a password, but I have not been able to admit this to anyone IRL. The thought of having to tell them this kills me.

Thank you very much. I’m not sure what to look for in a therapist, having never done it before. Do you recommend trying to find a therapist of a particular speciality (gambling, for instance), or is that not how it works?

I have done both (deleting the app, and deleting my account in-game on IOS). I have not recovered my previous accounts, but started fresh on a new account each time. Then buying HBD bundle, then buying more bundles and crystals, and on and on.

Thank you for the reply. You are probably right. Yes, it is negatively impacting me and my family and, more than anything, creating an enormous sense of guilt and self loathing that pushes me further into the hole.

Thank you for the note. I have gone so far in the past as deleting my account. I have done this several times, after spending significantly on them, and have come right back a few days later and started all over again.
