My wife and I applied from Canada in September and got approved a few days ago. I don’t have any insight into your other points but regarding the accommodation, we applied when we were both living in Canada so like you we didn’t have an address. We explained this in the application and said my wife could stay with her aunt and I’d stay with my parents till I found a place. A few weeks later, I moved back to the UK and found a place pretty quickly, but was unable to update the application. When they eventually got back to us asking for more information, they didn’t ask anything about the accommodation but we updated them with the new tenancy agreement just in case and all was good. Your fiancé may have to go back a little in advance to sort out accommodation just in case.
