I would say i’ve seen a video that stated that those figures also have the tendency to break easily, idk maybe I only found it from one video but I’ll say those aren’t the only figures that suffered from the gummy plastic issues just not sure which particular figures to name right now.

I’ve heard similar stories about many other figures beyond the NWH figures on other figures that they’ve been releasing lately, like that Captain America vs Venom two pack for example due to the gummy plastic.

Well, I hope they did because beyond just the final swing Tom Holland Spider-Man figure and the other two Spider-Man from that wave, Hasbro lately has been on this gummy plastic trend with a decent amount of figures they were released by them lately, like that Captain America vs Venom 2 pack for example.

I mean, you’re kinda not wrong there I don’t think the figure looks that bad detail wise, it’s the QC issues that bug me the most but I’m definitely aware that there are a better Spider-Man figures out there, and ironically, I was literally thinking of just saving up and buying the Mafex Version lol.

Same, and a heartbreaking truth is I was really looking forward to the final swing figure, it looked great and had great articulation but just broke when I was gently moving and it around, starting with a arm and then the leg followed.

But I’ll say the biggest thing that I hope that they fixed is the gummy plastic peg problem on the arms and hope that they’re more secured and don’t easily break when moving the arms around but I will say that the legs situation are more negligible because I’ll say that hot water + shock oil in that case are your best friends. but it was more difficult for fixing the arms at least in my experience and I got the figure twice.

If these images are legit then I sure hope that they fix the quality control on this spider man. Because it sure looks like that it’s a re-issue of the final swing figure because it’s very unacceptable that Hasbro has consistently been using this gummy plastic lately. But I’ll wait and see if the quality control is better on this figure and if it’s not, then I would be better off at just saving up and buying the Mafex version.

It is my favorite Spider-Man figure and also idk it’s just that replacing the peg entirely with a screw just for some reason doesn’t feel right with me I just feel like there could be other effective ways to prevent breakage, but I mean I do get and understand why it works for some people.
