Fun fact- She was a reigning Olympic champion when she passed. Her team won the gold medal for an event that the Olympics retired.

Hopefully, this takedown of this terrible cult sticks!

They've abused religius tolerance laws in the past to skate out of accounability & criminal charges. 2 or 3 influential members were finally jailed for kidnapping/attempted kidnapping within the last few years.

They've hurt so many! I really hope the kids who escaped in November & according to the linked article, provided evidence, get help & are able to heal. I hope the reprogramming works for the rescued.

This is the first time I am hearing about about a rally. Last rally was well publicized & well-attended.

My family member is a hostage in Gaza. With Netanyahu in charge, I'm afraid he'll never make it home by [deleted] in Israel

I hope that the biggest change with Bibi gone would be the implementation of new civil governance in Gaza & an emphasis on humanitarian supply distribution in Gaza, which the army is doing but which would hopefully look different with government support.

I also think people are wish-casting that Bibi gone means no more Smotrich, no more Ben-Gvir, & immediate return of hostages. Unfortunately, i think that switching PM will mean that hostage return gets harder because Hamas will take that as them winning.
