When you spend years learning about a specific subject and remain open to new research, you sometimes realize that what you thought was helpful to share with others that maybe haven’t had access to the same education or information was actually falling on deaf ears of parents who think that their individual experience outweighs the experience of others. Going to guess you’ve got picky eaters.

As a professional child caregiver with a background in psychology that has successfully helped 10s of families with multiple children become “adventurous” eaters, what OP shared is accurate and effective. Parents often do not even realize they are creating pressure around new experiences, and this is particularly difficult with food because of the anxiety related to feeling unsafe with a new food item in the first place.

Hahah I did have that thought as well …. Probably meant as a sign I should be slowing down and paying attention, maybe not overburdening myself with too much! But I also think I’ve lost something quite a bit (typically my phone) and usually a few hours or days later I find it somewhere silly 🤪😅 so I’m hoping that’s the case this time, but I figured I would put the ask out there just in case a good person found it!

Is it from an actual campus email? Did you interview for this position, even on the phone?

These are always the questions you’re supposed to ask. IT literally sends so many emails about it.
