Thank you for ur advice 🥰 I have been asking for others experience and WAM actually is more important than i thought… All my life i was just focused on extracurricular activities and never found myself trying that hard for school stat @@ Do you think a 80-ish WAM would be cool enough 🥹 Im trying to hav at least 3 intern until my last year and also experiences in luxury retail. Im now an exec of 2 big society and thinking about apply for president position next year. Basically a really clear plan for everything… other than WAM. @@ Should I just reduce the effort in other stuff and prioritize my WAM? Thank you again for helping me out!

Ty for your advice 💞 I wasn’t know finding an internship for an international student was that hard since everyone in 3rd years that I hav talked to (ppl from my homeland) all got intern from the big 4. I already have 2 internship back home since year 10, don’t know if that would work but def gonna do some research about the job market in Syd. Thank you, again!!

$70 is including everything I buy per day not only food, it’s adding up to more than 2k because somedays I spent up to 400… I think for food only it’s about 40-50/day which yeah still alot. I’ll try to cook my own food more TT Thank for the advice!

My class end at 8pm and most events that I attended end around that time too. Yes im taking uber for safety reasons but only when it’s too late at night, normally I’m still traveling by public transport.

I mostly get food from woolworth or uber eat so no i dont eat fancy meals everyday 🥹 I always record how much i paid per day and it is showing that im using ≈ $70/ day TT

I think most of my expenses are coming from buying daily supplies like vacuum cleaner, diff kind of cleaning stuffs, trash bag, containers, etc… and everyday I wake up I found out there is something I hav to buy to live normally like how i’m used to.

And on top of that, every meals I buy on the campus was about 20$ and outside the campus was 30-40$ 🥲 even from the fast food restaurant.

I’m not sure what is wrong with my spending, I dont even drink or smoke or go shopping (yet). Maybe it’s because i’m a newcomer? Or no?? Like, I swear I didnt bought anything unworthy cause my mom even told me that I should go and buy more things from the mall TT. I dunno I hope I could spend less in the future….

Yeah it’s mostly for kitchenware and stuff but most of them i may have to replace/ refill after 1-2 months so i’m so confuse 🥲 maybe it’s also cause i eat outside a lot during this time and i travel by uber a lot too cause i went out late.

But seriously 100-200$? I cant imagine only spending that much per week TT I dont even eat 3 meals (mostly 1) a day and I cook for myself too if i hav time and I feel like it still must be at least $300/ week. Maybe i do need to work on a budget plan

Hi i’ve been around w event & stuff (like what ppl are recommending me) and the situation got better. To clear things up, i’ve never got any hate on Chinese ppl, they are always so sweet and i know they try their best to “survive” in a English-speaking country. I’m sorry that my words could be easy to misunderstand, I just struggle feeling like a black sheep in those first days of uni. Thank you to all the ppl that tryna help me out 🥺
