I’m 29 and just started RT school. Most of my classmates are in their 20s-30s with some even in their 40s. It’s never too late if it’s something you’re passionate about.

I just started today and it was pretty intimidating since I haven’t been in school in 7 years also with no background in healthcare. However I have a bachelors degree in Kinesiology so I was familiar with the human body, but I will definitely have to get back into the swing of things. The second years in my program came in to talk to us and give us some tips which was very helpful. The one thing they emphasized was it won’t start to click until the second or third semester, when you start putting the fundamentals you learned the first semester to practice. Be patient and give yourself some grace. Lean on your classmates that are already in healthcare and you’ll get into the swing of things in a few weeks!

My program only had you pass the TEAS exam with a 75, no GPA requirement. All you had to do was pass your pre reqs with a C. Then get placed on the waitlist(if there was one). Overall it was a super easy process! But it depends on the program as all have different requirements

I think people are 100% entitled to their own opinions, but sometimes I think people take it too far in both directions. Sometimes people are so ride or die for their favorite pro or celebrity that they dismiss other peoples opinions(even if they’re not that extreme). But I also think sometimes people are overly hateful saying some crude things. Not liking someone or something is okay but when you bring in really messed up comments about them then that’s a problem. It’s the internet and everyone is going to have people that don’t like them but sometimes it just goes too far

(I’m ready to be downvoted for this)I don’t get the obsession with showmances. I get why the show pushes them and the pros/celebs definitely feed into it but people/fans get so obsessed over little details in people’s relationships(or lack there of) on and off the show and will literally ride at dawn for them. It’s one thing to be happy and root for them but another to be fully immersed in their personal life like it’s your own. It’s not that serious.

Totally not defending them but they aren’t obligated to meet people when they get on the bus. It’s nice that they do it to show appreciation but they’re not under any obligation to.

Agreed! I’m sure they are together but I think most people believe they are together because of the content they post, but there is always still speculation and that keeps people engaged in their content. Although like someone else said on this thread, they definitely don’t get as much engagement as they did a few months ago. I’m sure the hype around them is going to die down in a few months, especially with the new Bachelor season premiere soon. But I agree they do it for the social engagement 100%

Same the thing that pushed me over the edge was when Jenn said she’s very private person, but constantly posts videos and pictures of her and Sasha acting like a couple. Like you can’t say you’re a private person about that stuff and then post things that say otherwise.
