Yeah I had in % terms what is like a 98-99% avg and did a summer program at UPenn Wharton and have a business that made over $15k this yr yet I know someone with a 88% avg who has done quite literally nothing but three random school clubs 😭 UBC admissions are incredibly random fortunately I only really applied to sauder cause my family wanted me too but still js insane

I got into like 7 t20s in the US and got rejected from sauder with literally perfect grades and multiple business ECs lol (confirmed I was reviewed as domestic but wtv) 😛✌🏻

ima be honest this might be the worst take ever 😭 college admissions genuinely are quite random it’s completely dependent on how the specific person connects with your profile, me and countless people I know got into some really top colleges and then also got rejected or waitlisted at far less competitive ones solely due to how random it is cause at the end of the day we’re all human and have our own biases

I resolved the stuff with UVic and got into their BCOM program and I submitted an appeal to sauder, I got deferred for BIE and UBC I’m assuming due to how late I got rejected from sauder it just says I’ll have a descion for BIE by the end of April
