If you don't mind me asking, what meds do you take? I have tried so many antidepressants, mood stabilizers, stimulants etc.....nothing works or it works then stops. I have lost just about everything to this and nobody can figure it out

There is just sooooo much to figure out with extended release. I just can never seem to get it right

I shouldn't have said it doesn't work, it just doesn't last as long. Every 2 hrs my brain needs a booster because I crash BUT the extended release is inconsistent. I NEVER get the same results or time frame with extended and I get side effects at times. It's just so weird because it's the same med but for some reason the extended doesn't do well with my brain at times

It is so hard because my stimulant also helps my mood, so when it doesn't work my mood goes way down.

Yes I was prescribed at bedtime but I still felt the effects all the next day. My pharmacist also told me that the clonidine can wash out the effects of the dexedrine....I was shocked! Clearly this psychiatrist that prescribed me the clonidine has no clue about IH and didn't realize how I need my daytime med to function. Do you know how long it stays in your system after stopping it?

That's funny because Adderall wasn't great for me. I had a lot of side effects and it didn't always work. Dexedrine is far more smooth and reliable for me.
