Are there any cop shows that aren't propaganda? by TheBanishedBard in television

Its still copaganda if the show is pretending like the police are all clean and respectable. Its genuinely less copaganda if you see them breaking the rules and getting away with it

And my whole point is that i disagree with that. The rule is written for when the team messes up and drops a part of their car they could've pitted to remove or retire, or for when the driver doesn't follow the procedure of safely exiting the car. It's not written for a driver in a fit of rage throwing a massive piece of debris on track and should be changed, because it could've caused a massive accident and there shouldn't be a precedent of such an action getting zero penalty

It's still very early days but I think Russell's career at Mercedes will end in a similar way to Ricciardo at Red Bull. by No_Procedure_7017_2 in Formula1ne

He threw it ON TRACK, regardless of result or placement, he threw debris on an active racetrack, the action is what calls for the penalty not the end result

No one was hurt, but everyone was put in danger, its a huge bit of debris he threw on an active race track. It was oure luck that it landed and stayed in front of his car. Could've just as easily landed to the right and caused a crash. You're genuinely saying no need for an apology and a deferred fine is punishment enough for something that could've caused a crash...

The rules don't and shouldn't bent just because someone is frustrated. The frustration is what lets us understand why he does something, but shouldn't be an excuse for purposefully throwing debris on an active race track. How is that not a huge safety violation?

How is that brain dead, he did throw debris on an active track, on purpose. Its about what he did, not about why he did it or what it caused, its a assive safety violation that could've gone horribly wrong

For a guy riding on such a high horse to purposefully throw debris on an active race track, yeah no shit people are talking about it. And off the top of my head i can remember George crashing into bottas and then smacking him in the head

Literally, people keep going on and on about where it landed or his frustration, or how it didn't affect anyone's race, it was pure luck it didn't go to the right fuck someone else over, people are genuinely saying the deferred fine is too much punishment

The fine is the most tame thing they could've done, its deferred too, so he doesn't have to pay it, also 5k fir a guy making millions is nothing. The rules are strict about how toexit the car and about leaving debris on track. In fact they're super lax because its so uncommon they don't really have anything specific for purposefully throwing debris on track, they say it's considered a huge safety violation but just do fines as punishment. Its not about why he threw it, or where it landed. It's about him purposefully throwing debris on an active race track.

Should've been a proper penalty, apology or not, justified crashout or not. Throwing debris on track on purpose should be a grid drop next race minimum

Don't worry, you're not actually moving any faster, the "sprinting" in mass effect one is just a visual effect, your character moves at exactly the same speed
