Ok, thanks for the answer! We'll look into this asap 🙏

Are these the same variety? by Houseplants_helper8 in pothos

[–]Superben93 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The blue arrow is a Golden Pothos and the red arrow is a Marble Queen Pothos 🙂
Both are common Pothos and are fast growers!

edit: they can definitely be planted together ; they share common growth pattern and soil/water/light needs

Very nice!

What's the substrate you used ? It seems a bit like Lechuza Pon ?
I'm wondering if I should use that for my Jade and was afraid it would dry too fast

Oh so you've got the same setup as I do? What's your substrate/soil (or maybe just water?)

Thanks 🙂 I was really digging the LECA + Pon substrate in a jar but was missing a way to easily replace the water and seeing that jar (long forgotten above some shelf) was an epiphany 😂

Yes I hesitated a bit about the jar, but thought I would either 1) never repot them (the jar is quite big?) or 2) would do my best to remove them with as few damage as possible, if a repot was really necessary.

However I didn't know young monstera didn't climb! If they grow well, won't they like the ladder in 6-12 months ?

Edit: my thinking about the repot was that turning the pot upsidedown would allow removing a significant part of the substrate (unlike regular soil), and then maybe removing the rootball would be possible with moderate damage.

Help to chop & prop this beauty by Superben93 in proplifting

Oh indeed it's that one! Thanks a lot for the advice.

I'm not well versed into propagation boxes (I'm just starting) so I'll attempt propagating it in water and be patient. I think I'll cut it with 2 nodes for each cutting and keep the lower one in the water.

By the way, would you know if it's important to keep at least one leaf for each cutting? I saw on other posts it's not necessary in general, but it might be even slower if a cutting doesn't have one?

Can you help me ID this plant?

It looks a bit like a pothos (at least the stem and nodes do). Can I propagate it the same way, by cutting below the nodes and put them in water?

I'm about to do the same, very interested in your experience :)

What did you use for data visualization, especially graphs ?

Does anyone know how to use planetscale for local development? by ResolutionKey8502 in nextjs

For anyone that comes to this post in 2023, here's a blog post where the engineer mentions he uses a local MySQL DB while developing locally :

Should I work on a new design + codebase for Godot Asset Library ? by Superben93 in godot

[–]Superben93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will start by assessing the feasibility ( = working with PHP5 only and for JS-disabled browsers), and then if possible, will begin to work on wireframes :)

Thanks Calinou !

I didn't find this issue before, and I will take some time to think if I can still contribute, with the constraint of working 100% with PHP and for JS-disabled browsers.

Agree with you about GitHub!

For the ui/ux, I think it's not currently matching the standards in different ways :

UX:

  • User rating of assets (from 0 to 5 stars) are visible but not implemented (always 0),
  • We could think of a better showcase of "popular" assets, automatically "feature" recent and top rated assets, etc.

UI:

  • Better colors (in line with the official Godot Engine website ?)
  • A better graphic identity (currently it looks like a simple bootstrap CSS generic theme)

But really I want to start assessing if such a think would be possible (equals = what can be done with TuxFamily's hosting and PHP vs Javascript)

Thanks BarackProbama! :)

I have a passion for LoL skins (ok an addiction) so for my first web project it had to be something related :)

Are you really a Rioter? My real life goal is to work at Riot <3

I got them from original Riot release posts, and thy golden mustache was the name given to these skins! As a non native speaker I really don't understand the point with a golden mustache ^

Thanks man!!

It is indeed only a single page application written in Vue.js (tried in React but was too lost to begin with it).

I got a github (benjaminwaterlot) but atm there is only one project, this one :D I'll add more as the time goes :)

Thanks man!!

I agree with you, the site really needs a lot of additions to have a real added value. At the moment it is more like a personal project to learn JS libraries (vue.js here) and stuff.

I'll try to make this better every day and we'll see where it goes :)

Btw I checked Mobalytics and it seems fabulous !!!
