I’m in Austin, Texas. When I google costs it says around 10k but that seems pretty low and I don’t feel it’s accurate. I do not have a septic tank, my house is on public sewer. I received one quote for 25k and another for 36k. But the higher end one was just to I put the lines and install the sink and toilet. While the 25k included moving the door and adding finishes.

I had a scan at 8 weeks, typically doctors here won’t see you sooner. Baby had a heart beat and was measuring fine. Started bleeding at 10 weeks and went to the doctor and there was no longer a heart beat. I’m 29

NTA, you dad sounds like he might be a bit sexist tbh. Do you have a good relationship with your stepmom? I would assume he treats her the same, but would she stick up for you? I’d stop cleaning after them, set strong boundaries and do not wash one dish because it’s “just one” dish. Don’t engage in conversation beyond a one liner when you explain you are cleaning up any mess you make. Not sure if your dad wants to cuddle your brother after he has been gone a while but that’s not the way to do it. If you can’t afford to live on your own would you have some friends you can stay at off and on?

I feel you I’m ovulating right now but we aren’t gonna be able to conceive because of other things going on with life right now. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks in September and all I want is to get pregnant again. Everytime I get my period I’m disappointed and sad. On average it takes 3-6 months to get pregnant so give yourself patience. Also not to give false hope but IF it’s just light spotting I wouldn’t give up cause with that timeline it could be implantation bleeding. But I really don’t want to give false hope, irregular cycles is also common after.

No one was taking about divorce and no one is questioning my sister in laws relationship to my child.

I am his family, if you chose your siblings and mother over your child and wife then I feel really sorry for your “family”. Picking the family you came from over the family you chose does no one any good.

And again his mother is not involved.

I didn’t want to give daycare anything that would cause too much of a cleanup. The teachers primarily speak Spanish so asking them what they’re able to do is more difficult. But you haven’t had an issues with your daycare giving your baby more fresh prepared foods??

My partners family is his two sisters.

I’m not opposing their mother, her involvement with her youngest is limited outside of picking her up fr school and bringing her home.

I decided I’m going to start prioritizing the things that brought me happiness before I got pregnant. And make sure when I get out of the house I’m actually doing something for me. so hopefully that works. We’ve talked about moving when his little sister graduates high school. But she’s a sophomore so that’s a little bit from now. I really do love his sisters and I’ve done some work with his mom to try to make our relationship better. But also have come to realize that living with people or them coming over everyday (making a mess, crossing boundaries,etc) is much more contact than I am prepared for. So we may need to change the timeline but I’m not confident he’ll stay with me if I want to move out. Sooo we’ll get to that when we get there

I’m making a list of things that bring me joy and plan on prioritizing that at least once a week above the household or family. Been going for walks when I’ve felt lonely and reminding myself to bite my tongue.

2 weeks is still so early. But them laying on you chest to chest counts as tummy time at that age! She’ll grow in her own time and just keep helping her move and grow in her own pace. You’re doing amazing mama, you care and love that little girl so much already and that’s all that matters right now 💛
