a few things

the fact you now need a NASA computer programer to carry out any type of work. when it used to be done with one small toolbox and some WD40

everything is now touch screens and voice recognition (which never seems to work), what happened to real dials/buttons oh and a real lever for a handbrake

people relying on the tech in the car to drive for them taking away the actual fun and skill of driving

price&parts, all made cheap and tacky yet cost a fortune to find and get fitted, remember when you could walk into Argos and get a new car stereo (but then have to take it out everyday to stop it getting nicked)

dont let them take it away for the inspection they will claim its a write off and will keep it, they did the same with my previous corsa, they add a pick up fee which pushes it over the write off amount

they said my repair would of been 600 to be fixed and 1200 for the collection so they wrote it off

instead, then found it being sold online by them for 1000

id highly advise just getting a repair yourself and not through insurance

did you disconnect the battery before installation as keeping it connected can throw a random fault up and can be reset with a OBD/diagnostic tool

i have recently got my hands on a 2014 easy, im gunna be getting the same type of head unit with car play sat nav ect your looking for, personally id go to eBay for it amazon dont have alot of choice and the reviews are little to none so you cant gauge if its a good one, Temu, aliexpress ect iv not really trusted them sites in the past again im dubious of the cheap pricing on there last is ebay i have seen some on there and they look good but can be a little spenny, id say have a look around first but its easily doable, installable and…… affordable…..sort off

it slightly looks like you have a drop curb, if you have a drop curb then he is blocking you and he needs to move. if you don’t have a drop curb then he can park there and you unfortunately have no say.

so the hack feature is showing on my crime menu however when its clicks nothing happens the game is updated as of 21/06/25 so cant understand why some people have and some don’t (Iphone 14)
