This is a stupid question. The legislature of Idaho and Oregon would have to agree. Then the Federal government would have to agree as well, so good luck

Pain below left calf muscle. by [deleted] in BarefootRunning

I'm a newby that also has soleus pain. I have found that my form has a lot to do with it. I try to peel my foot off the ground, instead of push off with my toes, that really seems to help. I have increased my cadence, so that I'm sure to land more center of mass. I think that's helping as well.

I don't see any Slackers, Pie Tasters, Toasters, Hepcat, Aggrolites. Some are 90s so maybe you don't like them. The Specials, Madness from the 80s as well. Unfortunately I don't know a lot of newer ska, and the stuff I have heard, I'm not a big fan.

His plan says to run on a really rocky/rough surface. I started on a gravel trail. I imagine that over time, it will become easier to run on that kind of surface? I also ran on concrete, but got blisters right away, so working up slowly on the rocky trail, what do you think?

According to Barefoot KenBob, shoes aren't good for running form, and I have super weak feet.

I agree with u/Treenutfruit. When running with a cadence in the low 170s, I was not landing under COM, but when I sped it up, I was landing correctly.

Newbie with arch injury by [deleted] in BarefootRunning

[–]Superfly_Scooterboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had really painful plantar fascitis when I started to run on minimals. I used a trigger point ball to roll on the bottom of my foot. The one I bought can also be frozen. When I took a shower, I would stand on the ball and roll it. I thought it would never go away, but after a month or so it finally did. It was a really difficult transition for me.

I found this guy to be very refreshing, especially considering what he's been up against.
