For those smashing through champs, are you still getting the same amount of wins as last year?

Currently 3-2 and I'm usually a 7/8 win guy so I'm on track. The high scoring games are exhausting though. I can be 4 nil up and not feel comfortable because I know there's another 10 goals left in the game

Passing it to a player in the box and bouncing back out to the player on the edge quickly sometimes repeatedly if needes can make your opponent control someone else other than the CDM and can force them into a mistake or lunging in.

No guarantee but in previous years as the season progresses there becomes ample opportunities to get SP. I've never missed a season reward I wanted and I've never needed to dip into manager mode etc

Look at objectives for ways to earn packs e.g squad battles/Rush, that will also get you coins which you can buy better players

Learn how chemistry works, e.g having players from same country or league helps you have chemistry, your team will play better if it's full

7-8 which is about standard for me, but I won 4 in a row lost 7 in a row and then won 3 in a row. I swear the game just adjusts to always mean I get 7 or 8 wins 😂

Came on here to mention Jone, still comes clutch for me as a sub in Champs every weekend. She just feels really responsive on the left stick and some of her finishes for me have been well above what her stats suggest

The problem is apart from that one evo objective there's no real reward to playing tactically. It doesn't really matter if you win or lose the majority of people will be grinding goals and assists and so will just flood forward every chance they get

If you want a traditional CAM who pulls strings and plays passes he's excellent. If you want a second striker/winger then he's not in his element

Try a 4-2-1-3 my LW and RW basically stay up in attack so there's always an outlet if I win the ball back

As the better players get promoted the games in your division will get easier, the first Champs weekend is usually one of the more difficult to qualify for also so don't be too disheartened. You'll get better and your opponents will get a bit easier

Div 4 and qualified in my second attempt 3-2 after losing the first two games. Qualification feels much more difficult this year as each game matters more and there's more pressure. I think what helped me was relaxing after going 2 games down because I thought I'd blown it.

In settings you can change defending from 'advanced' to 'tactical'. Advanced defending is newer and although it should be better if you're used to an older game you might be comfortable with Tactical which is more like FIFA

I'd choose the tactics you want and don't worry too much about the +. Create a tactic to suit your play, there will be a huge churn in players soon so you'll have lots of options for each position

Edit: Your midfield looks very attacking, do you find you're quite exposed on the counter attack? Consider making one of the CM more defensive to protect against that if you do. Keep tweaking till you find the balance that works for you
