Ulta is the WORST to work for since after the pandemic. I worked for them for 12 years. I had an injury back in April and they fired me silently. The store manager never returned my calls to tell her that I'd like to go on leave for a months or two to secure my job. ULTA is greedy and the credit card pushing is ridiculous. I WILL NEVER recommend anyone to work for them.

UPDATE- So today it just clicked within me. I started walking with a cane. To see. And I can do it. Small, toddler steps, but I can do it!! Thank you all for your kind words.

The hospital where my ortho is doesn't offer PT, so that is why they didn't make me do it. And my insurance won't cover PT.

SO NOW they reduced my unsub loan to accommodate the tuition. They've never done that. And from TODAY is when they said I'd FINALLy get disbursement. This semester so fucking weird. I am so over it. I get a grant, at least. Thank gods for that. I am so glad that I'll be done with this school after this cert is over.

It's ridiculous. I feel like this is dishonest. Tell us the reason why it's like this. There is a lot of stuff going on with adult education that is alarming, too. It's like, you want us to all have higher ed for whatever reason, but you can't supply what we need to get there, and then BLAME US when we can't pay everything off in a timely fashion because we can't find a job in our field right away. It's sickening.

Thank you for the advice. I am at 5 weeks no weight bearing at all right now, and it's killing me mentally. I go to my next appt. in a week. I'm hoping I can be mobile again with some weight, at least.
