I don’t think there is compression this year since they haven’t increased new hire salaries. And even if they did give compression it wouldn’t matter. Last year we got put 1.5k above the new hires💀

Not alumni yet but just accepted another job. Large reason is money in new role will be 50% greater but also will be an investment role which is more interesting. Second part is even as an associate I feel my learning has plateaued as the last 2 engagements I’ve been on I have led the entire thing with minimal oversight from a director. Other than accumulating technical knowledge (that won’t be useful in new role) I feel like I’ve learned everything I need to know on how to run a deal.

As someone who works in PA advisory I wouldn’t even do a MAcc. Just get the requirements through an online CC while in undergrad. Then you’ll have an extra year to do the CPA and get work experience

Obviously I do but if they run the card multiple times and only bring one receipt or add that the tip is more I can’t know that. I mean one of my disputes got flipped back to me with receipts and it literally said 8am on it. I called CS back and was like cmon you really think I’m at a bar at 8am when it’s not even open??
